Champions League Round of 16 (16th Feb - 17th Mar)

Game was nicely poised and Anthony Taylor gives a penalty for that? The ball was going straight into the keeper's arms and was completely accidental.
I have some sympathy for him, he didn't have another choice really. He was probably looking at the monitor thinking "feck's sake I have to give this", knowing many would consider it soft.

Wow Messi. That's surreal. He just completely gave up on his teammates and decided to let rip

Could have been given I think, took the man out before he got to the ball

See that's difference between shooting of Messi and Dembele.

It was a clear foul on Icardi but a penalty just feels like too heavy a punishment. It wasn't even a chance. That has always felt wrong to me, but rules are rules.

I don't think it was even a foul.

If this happens elsewhere on the pitch, with the ball nowhere near, then its just an accidental tangling of legs, Icardi gets up relatively quickly once he realizes the referee isn't giving anything, and play continues.

Football is a physical game. Players' legs are crashing into each other, even accidentally stepping on each other, all the time when they are running close together or jostling for position.

It was three feck ups as far as I recall

In that game alone there was more than 3 feck ups.

1. Playing 5 at the back
2. Clearly not instructing our wingbacks to stay wide when defending
3. Not playing Pogba out of pride
4.Not subbing ion Pogba at half time.
5. Not making a sub until the 60th minute.

That group went from a mastermind in management in the first two games to the management of a Sunday League manager in the last 4.

The Fred red being absolute amateur league.

Taylor all over the place. Mingueza should be off, penalty for barcelona not given, bunch more stuff

PSG trying hard to do a PSG here, but Dembele says No for now

I would just leave Mbappe as far forward as possible and hit the ball over the top. They are trying to play out from the back and Barca just swarm all over them.

No it's not. If you step on someone's ankle, accidental or not, it's a foul

Messi's doing well in his PSG audition tonight. Messi, Mbappe and Neymar up top next season?
