Champions League Round of 16 (15th Feb - 16th Mar)

OF course Inter scores, and then Inter gets a red card

I'm not United fan, but i see a Klopp's Liverpool lucky pattern.

They were dominated by Atlético as well, and then Atlético gets a red card, and Liverpool ended up winning 11 vs 10 at Madrid.

Inter wouldn't have scored of Alexis was correctly sent off in the first half. We'd be comfortable and cruising instead. Where's our luck eh?

Apparently the opposition have had the same amount of red cards this season as Liverpool faced in the six years under Klopp before this.
You honestly can’t write it.
What about the Sanchez challenge in the first half? Red or no?

Nope, this is what happens when you get so many decisions like you lot and our pen stats last year.
Just hide behind the big number, don’t back the points up and say you’re lucky.

That foul is blatantly a yellow card. I’m layers can’t complain about being unlucky when they go into challenges with no hope of winning the ball.
Sanchez? He took the ball before Liveprool player decided to fall apart.

He touched the ball. Fabinho still cleared it. Getting a touch on the ball doesn’t negate a reckless tackle. He’s out of control, stretching for a ball he can’t win cleanly.

You can’t win the ball then follow through with studs like that.

I get that you all hate Liverpool but you’d all want a yellow given for a challenge like that on a United player.

Sorry pal - but it’s never ever a yellow card, let alone a foul. He wins the ball and there’s an eternity before the Liverpool player runs into his foot.

I see you haven't been in a match day thread recently... (loads would call for a red!)

Come on. He slides in, pokes the ball away and slightly touches him after winning the tackle. If that's a yellow, it's unbelievable harsh.

If that's a red then Mane and Robertson would be missing 20 games each season through suspensions.
Don’t think so myself. Not enough to justify that.
Wow.

Keita should’ve gone for that.

What are you on about? Sanchez got the ball.
He got a touch on the ball before clattering into Fabinho. That isn’t winning the ball. Welcome to 2022, you aren’t allowed to make those kind of tackles anymore.

Inter looking to keep a clean sheet for the final 15 minutes of normal time and they introduce Matteo Darmian, what could go wrong there?
