Champions League Round of 16 (15th Feb - 16th Mar)

Only tuned in to watch Vlahovic for the first time. It’s becoming worth it. Great center forward play from him till now. But looking at Juve sit back and play the game on counter just draws focus on the style of the manager rather than the size of the club.

Both matches have been predictably tame so far.

Chelsea Lille is so riveting the commentators have started discussing the size of the lettering on the back of the Lille players' shirts.

Allegri vs Emery proving to be the dullest match up in CL history, well, until we play tomorrow that is.
People forget Havertz was 75M and lets be honest, he hasn't been up to much. At least Lukaku has proven himself at other clubs in the EPL.
He's got a knack for scoring when it's important, but he's not someone I particularly envy them having. For £75m he's not as productive as you'd expect.

Played well for the first 10 minutes but since then we've been sloppy and are not dealing with their high press particularly well. It's a good thing they are wasteful in the final third.

Who scored for Chelsea missed it, not impressed either way with the match since.

I think the score might have played into that too, but generally they're a pragmatic side.

Matthijs de Ligt is perfect
Absolutely flawless. Great on the ball too.

Looking at the Chelsea line up I was wondering if United have ever started a game without at least one British player on the pitch.

I agree.

If I recall correctly we first fielded a starting 11 without a single English player in 2008/09. Not the same thing but that's all I can think of

Juventus have many absentees. Allegri did this on Friday home match vs Torino andthey got punished for it.

Chelsea started well but that didn’t last.

Both games have been crap to be fair

I just don't know what it is about Chelsea but I've never enjoyed watching them play - can't quite put my finger on it. Even the team under mourinho that had Joe cole, drogba, robben etc.

I liked Conte's 16/17 side. It was a fresh sight seeing a 3 CB formation get all those wins in a row and they played good footy.

Damn, Chelsea are not playing fair. Lukaku is on the bench

Really wanted to watch Ajax and we end up with the two dullest games at the same time and United and Ajax together.
