Champions League Round of 16 (15th Feb - 16th Mar)

And people think this *isn't* the best player on the fecking planet?!?!?

City's CL to lose this year I feel. No one else is better than them. Liverpool have the potential to challenge
Don't forget Ajax and Bayern, both just cruised through the CL so far, while City was actually vulnerable.

How’s that for an Mbappe CL knockout goal.

People talking down Mbappé is one of the more bizarre phenomenons of internet fans, and there's a lot of bizarre phenomenons.

Not really.

Smashing a portuguese team that isn't even leading the portuguese league doesn't put you ahead of everyone else in CL.

City looked this good before and they got knocked out by Monaco, Tottenham, and Lyon.

Smashing Sporting CP means feck all

PSG deserves this victory. They were all over Real Madrid. Brilliant from Mbappe.

Real have been extremely spineless tonight. Good riddance if they get eliminated.

On balance, i'll take it

Fecking hell this was depressing

Told you guys that this RM-side is average, PSG easily the better side tonight.

Neymar's main strength is not goalscoring. And it is funny how they both combined for this great finish.

No shit, it's amazing he continues to get mega plaudits as an "elite" player despite his continued declining numbers... you know, in his peak 25 to 30 years too.. his time - as a player at least - at PSG has been a tremendous flop.

Lack of playing time together has reallt hurt the chemistry between Mbappé-Neymar-Messi, the latter is frankly kind of pointless on this team and the lack of a CF presence really hurt them going forward - everything else they do quite well. Still not convinced this is a real contender(we never were btw), but they have the best player in the world. Defence+luck+Mbappé can be a CL winning formula

PSG's front 3 were frightening in the last 18 minutes when Neymar came on. If their interplay is going to be this good when they're on form, it's going to be difficult to stop them. They were finding each other with so many angles.

It was not a tremdous flop. Disapointing of course because of the injuries but PSG had a glass ceiling in the CL and it broke after Neymar and Mbappé arrived with a final and a semi final. And Neymar played a huge role in that.

Lots of Neymar haters in here, quite funny.

RM can bounce back if they get Mbappé in the summer.

The difference today between Madrid and PSG was Mbappé, as Messi, Di Maria and Neymar didn't do much.
