Champions League Round of 16 (15th Feb - 16th Mar)

The middle east owns European football. Shame to see a great club like Sporting get humiliated at home by an Abu Dhabi toy

City hasn't won the Champions League yet, neither did PSG

Smashing Sporting CP doesn't equal to owning european football.Unless you assume Sporting CP are favorites to win CL.

They own it and their grip will just get tighter.

Not they don't, what the Middle East owns is Premier League.
They haven't won the CL yet...even getting knocked out by Tottenham, Monaco and Lyon.

If this game isn't enough to convince Flo that we desperately need a new RWB, then i don't know what will

Bad, bad job by ancelotti this game so far

Messi

Kroos is awful. His passing decline so much. And he's off pace. Passenger performance so far.

Strange how you just feel that Messi isn't that special anymore. I thought the same before he took it.
Messi has missed loads of penalties, even at Barca in his prime. He isn't actually a very reliable penalty taker if I remember right, still kept taking them. A bit like Ronaldo at free kicks..

Real Madrid's press is so half-arsed. You never get the impression are ever in trouble when they're faffing about at the back.

True. But for me it changed from "he might miss it" to "why the feck do they still allow him to take it".

Carletto too slow with the substitutions.I don't understand why he didn't use Valverde

Real Madrid are playing like they learned the concept of "playing out from the back" two days ago.

Nice for PSG to bring a £200m player on off the bench probably get the winner.
