Champions League Round of 16 (13th Feb - 14th Mar)

Was gonna record one and watch the other, but BT Sport always ruin it by putting the scores up in the corner of the screen.

No idea what sort of midfielder Lo Celso is. Nor have I heard of their left back

Thiago Silva isn't a starter anymore? I barely watch the french Ligue except the ocasional Monaco match to follow Jardim

2008/09 (Rafa): CL semis
2009/10 (Rafa): CL Group stage (3rd behind Fiorentina and Lyon) knocked out in Europa League semis

2010/11 (Hodge/Dalglish): Europa League last 16
2011/12 (Dalglish): Not in Europe
2012/13 (Rodgers): Europa League round of 32
2013/14 (Rodgers): Not in Europe
2014/15 (Rodgers): CL Group stage (3rd behind Real Madrid and Basel) knocked out right away in Europa League round of 32
2015/16 (Rodgers/Klopp): Europa League runner-up
2016/17 (Klopp): Not in Europe
2017/18 (Klopp): CL Knockout

In the past 10 seasons they've only been in the CL four times.

Why is Basel so good against English teams, I will never understand this. It feels like every second year they take out one of the English teams that were previously favorites to win their group but instead come 3rd behind Basel.

PSG have gone quite attacking. I'm surprised Bale is left on the bench, especially with Nacho at RB. Real should be counter-attacking and targeting the flanks here.

I think he is but he had a disaster against Barcelona. Kimpembe was part of the side that won 4:0 while Silva was part of the side that lost 6:1.

Wouldn't they mention it during the commentary anyway?

They did last night on the Spurs game. They showed the City score in the corner after the 1st, 2nd and 3rd goal, then they mentioned it a minute or two after the score was shown on screen. I dunno if it's just BT Sport 2 that does that, but it's annoying when they ruin it by putting the score up of other game/s.

It feels like a wwe match between PSG and Madrid with losers manager being Fired. They had those career on the line matches, feels like that for both Zidane and Emery. Seriously think they will sack Emery regardless(unless he wins the champions league), whereas Zidane will survive unless its a huge defeat or they finish outside champions league spots.

Anyone know anything about Porto? how good they are or will it be an easy outing for Liverpool?

I think Liverpool could end up running riot tonight. Hope I'm wrong, but really don't expect anything from this Porto side - wouldn't be surprised to see a scoreline similar to City's last night.

4-0 Real Madrid. PSG aren’t all that, haven’t had to come up against adversity all season and Real Madrid are wounded with a point to prove, and they will.

46/1 as per the bookmakers, you could be really rich if you put your money where your mouth is

PSG to win, Real are a shell of their former selves. Mpabbe Neymar and Cavani are just an incredible front 3, amazing speed and movement, I don't think Real will be able to cope.

Madrid can't keep a clean sheet to save their lives and they'll be up against Neymar, Mbappe and Cavani. They're going to need an incredible game from their defense or for those 3 to have forgotten how to put the ball in the back of the net..

Which game to watch?

Do we reckon Porto have the chance to take Liverpool apart? Because the meltdown would be superb!
Are you serious mate? The only people watching the Porto - Liverpool game is Porto fans and Liverpool fans. The rest of the world is watching Real - PSG. I'd definitely want to see a Liverpool meltdown though!

Hope Real and PSG serve up a classic tonight. If not, I'll root for the referee to steal the headlines and ensure a meltdown in one of the camps.

Expect Ronaldo to have a bazillion goal attempts.

I think it will be close but not sure how you figure PSG aren’t “all that” despite being listed as one of the favorites
