Champions League Round of 16 (13th Feb - 14th Mar)

Vertonghen and Chiellini, the two best centre backs on the pitch, both look like an accident waiting to happen.

bit late to this, many Alli dives thus far?

Alli has been anonymous, Kane has been the star for Tottenham, with a bit of side action from Son.

Basically a typical Alli performance, expect him to kick and scream Juve off the park in the last ten minutes to show some 'passion'.

My immediate reaction was penalty. Then I saw the replay and just have no sympathy when players go down like that.

Goes down like what? Blatant penalty and foul. Just because he takes a couple steps before he goes down doesn't make it a dive. He was put off balance. IN fact, refs not giving pk's unless a player goes down is EXACTLY the reason why players embellish fouls...

Juve defender went all Chris smalling with the shirt pulling from the spurs corner. Risky that...

Exactly... that’s why they dive. For the 3rd time, the tackle was shite and it could’ve been a fecking pen. He dove though and he’s a bellend. Happy?

Spurs' youthfulness and energy might be the key factor though. Juve's older players could tire in the second half leading to mistakes.

What a dirty bastard Barzagli is - about two stamps and a kick out all in about 3 seconds

Hoddle has given two pens to Spurs and a Juve red and we're only 35 mins in.

HAHaha thats like a double red. The 2 stamps and the kick out, wonder if Uefa will take a look.. eh never mind.

If Spurs didn't want to stop the game then Juve shouldn't have been forced to stop it after the shot was saved.

This ref is utter shite, gives Sandro a yellow card just because of accumulation from Juve.

The softest yellow in the world, where previously another player could have been red carded twice in a matter of seconds with two deliberate stamps. This is the worst refereeing I've seen in the CL in ages.
