He tried to clear Vertonghen and Vertonghen went in for seconds on his other foot. Both of his legs got taken out and he tried to carry on but was forced to go to ground.
His fitness is shocking but he can always come up with a moment of magic.
It’s obscene that people’s counter to VAR is to get more officials on the field, when these officials behind the goal already do such a stellar job
I have literally never once seen them make a call or do anything I agree crap tackle, if it was a pen I’d have said nothing, I just fecking hate the delayed dive after contact. My opinion was that there wasn’t much contact at all and he easily could have carried on.
Attacking play in Italy must be woeful for Juve to have such a good defensive record, over these 2 games they have looked incredibly vulnerable.
It wouldn't have been a red card. The DOGSO law has changed now where it's not a pk and a red if there was an attempt at the ball. SO worst case it would be a yellow card and a penalty. Just a penalty would have been the right call for me...

Son is so much better than Alli. Personally think Alli is pretty average.
