Champions League Round of 16 (13th Feb - 14th Mar)

I fancied Spurs before the first leg (and their second-half performance was outstanding) but I've a small hunch Juve's vast experience at this stage of the competition will tell a lot tonight. We've seen Spurs 'choke' a few times under Pochettino and the expectation they're under tonight - coupled with the Wembley factor - could prove too much for them. The worry I'd have from a Juve point of view is their lack of options off the bench. On a starting XI v XI basis, Juve are stronger, IMO.

What do people predict in the Spurs-Juve game? Would be fun to see an early 1-1 with the game in the balance.

Big mental test for Spurs tonight. Win and they are a real dark horse to win this competition.

But just have the feeling with Dybala and Matuidi back, Juventus will have a bit more in midfield to match Spurs and have that link-up back with Dybala.

Could be the match of the tournament this and should be lots of goals because of the situation Juventus are now in

If Dembele out performs Khedira and Matuidi, then Spurs will go through. He will allow Eriksen to roam and that will leave too much space for Kane, Son and Alli.

Doubt so, for me dark horses are Liverpool, hope I'm completely wrong though.

Barzagli is nearly 37. Big risk moving him away from the centre for a game like this especially with Son's pace.

I remember when we played away to AC Milan in the CL in 2005. A young Ronaldo was up against an ageing Cafu and I thought Ronaldo was going to have a field day. Turns out he didn't get a sniff and Cafu was phenomenal. Won MoTM IIRC. People tend to get too enamored with age.

(Fully expect Barzagli to get torn to shreds now)

What a depressing game that was. Rooney and Ronaldo were completely smothered. RvN was obviously rushed back, yet did the sum of feck all. Don't even remember who scored for Milan.

Looking forward to a good game after the nothingburger that was the PSG Madrid tie, to use an American term.

Spurs should've gone with Moura. He is even more quick but he probably hasn't adjusted to the defensive duties that are required in the position.

Was Crespo with a delightful header. I loved Crespo, was gutted when he left Chelsea.

I think we lost both legs 1-0. Carroll made a gaffe in the first leg at OT late on and let Crespo score.

See, Paris. That’s how you observe a minutes silence.

Spurs might have too much pace and energy for this tactically sound but ageing Juventus side.

How did Jenas get a pundit/commentary gig. He was a pretty useless footballer.
