Champions League Quarter Finals | Chelsea vs Real (Tue) | Bayern vs City (Wed)

Osimhen injury killed Napoli's season. Gotta hate it when that happens, but at least they had a brutally big lead in the League. But a fecking shite Inter/Milan side in the final?

Don't let this distract you from the fact Ighalo has scored 2 goals against Al-Nassr.

Milan derby semi final then... Kvara was so so wasteful all game. Maignan class. Osimhen quiet til the late header. Leao class when he got the ball on the counter. Milan looked comfortable really.

Napoli pulls one back in injury time, is it enough time to get another?

Napoli 1-1 AC Milan (Agg 1-2)

If we're looking for a long-term goalkeeper, Maignan's the guy. Total command of his box and a beast at penalties.

No European football for Chelsea next season then. That’s a big squad to cull, no way they keep all that lot on the books hanging about.
azpi, gallagher , mount, cho, rlc, lukaku, havertz maybe, all to leave IMO

auba, kepa/mendy, pulisic, ziyech.

City has a clear lane to the title. If they do not win it this year, Pep must be cursed.

Do teams in the Championship get to play in the Johnstones paint trophy?

Maybe some new silverware for Chelsea to go for next season?

Not only, Oshimen getting injured the time while Simeone and Raspadori were already injured, so they had to play Elif Elmas as false 9 last week - all that combined kind of killed Napoli's chances to compete for final.

Madrid's method of squad building is so much better than ours man.

Slightly expensive youth talents >>> "proven players" that cost 70m+

They save fees not having to buy these guys off of the likes of Dortmund, keep their wages down as they turn into stars, and ingrain the culture of the club from an early age.

Time keeping needs to be seriously looked at. 4 mins injury time. Napoli score 92+2, one booking. Ref blows on 94 mins dead on.

The ref blew up right on 4 mins even though almost a minute was wasted after the goal was scored.

Italian league is well down the list of leagues?

Eh? It’s not that bad ffs. The BT punditry is truly woeful. I feel my IQ just slipping away the more I listen to whatever sentences Owen tries to piece together.
