Champions League Quarter Finals | Chelsea vs Real (Tue) | Bayern vs City (Wed)

I know I got lambasted for saying it last week. But I stand by it. Madrid are extremely ordinary. I don’t see how people were impressed with them in the first leg.

Last week they were average. This week, so far, they’re dire.

Real Madrid might have a longer night that expected if Modric isn't in a good night like that, he's the heart of the team.

They're not a great team but they now know how to get the business done in Europe and they'll find a way again this season.

So you’re saying they’ll win the CL this season?

I’m in no way claiming they’re going to lose this tie.

I like AC Milan but I want the toughest game in the final for City/Real. Also think it would be nice for Napoli to do the double.

Napoli player (who cleared the ball after save) was way too early in the box before the shot. Is that still the rule?

Napoli players burning in full flames atm. Being so over-motivated brings trouble as the pen that was given. Hopefully, they sober down a bit now.

Chelsea's plan : lets overload the midfield and then figure out if someone might randomly shoot on target.

They’re a team in transition. Their best players are so old that they’ll probably turn into dust as the wind blows. They have some really really good young players though. They’re certainly not a top 3 European team right now but I can see them returning to the peak if they continue to buy well and their young players develop as we should expect.

Chelsea should really follow their lead and not Boehlys. :wenger:
