Champions League Quarter Finals | Chelsea vs Real (Tue) | Bayern vs City (Wed)

One of the worst assembled teams in history... in any sport. Possibly the worst. They'll be lucky if 3 of the signings this season pay off.

I bet this shit team will do some Voodoo and win tonight against us.

On Paper it looks so defensive one would think they won the first game.

6 of their best attackers on the bench.

Super Frank resting them to stay ahead of Palace and West Ham in the league.

At this point they're just hoping Gallagher scores a worldie so somebody bites in the summer

Lampard is clueless. Mudryk has to start against a high backline.

He’s a genius. It’s a big one next weekend. Get a draw and you’ve reached the magical 40-point mark. That’d be a great accomplishment.

edit: They’re not playing this weekend. Even better.

That line up is one of the worst I've seen in recent years.

Looking forward to seeing what Napoli can do, not sure why they're not in the thread title.

We only care about denying Man City the CL. Couldn't care less if Benfica makes the final from their bracket :smirk:

Chelsea at home needing goals and that is the XI they go with?
bizarre.

Lampard is absolutely clueless as a manager. He will never get another decent management job after this spell. Any owner or anyone with any football knowledge looks at our lineup tonight like ‘what the actual f?’ - it’s beyond stupid.

Good to see we are going gung-ho by playing 5 defenders, 3 defensively minded midfielders and 2 attacking midfielders.
Besides Kai, who is the other Attacking midfielder? Gallagher is a CM IMO

Wtf is that Chelsea lineup? Lampard should be fired for not even trying

Everyone is criticizing the Chelsea line-up so much that it'll end up working. 2 set piece goals

If RM score first we're out pretty much, so can see some sense in the lineup. If we can get a goal, got attackers on the bench to throw on to get a second. So there's logic.

My guess is we get pinned in our own half and battered, hopefully I'll be wrong!

BT's Serie A coverage is great, why would they not use if for this all Serie A tie, instead its Keown

Chelsea fans booing Courtois? Isn't that like old news, especially since it's not the first time that Courtois plays against Chelsea at the Bridge (in fact, it has been a few times)?
