Champions League Quarter Finals (5th - 13th Apr)

Seems Chelsea can’t struggle at all v a forward press. It’s been like this for a while

2 very good assists too. Both Modric and that mid-height ball from Vini

Chelsea had a god-tier Kante playing for them last season but he's not been great as of late.

Also, for United fans, take a close look at how above average players cross a ball... Look closely into RM's crosses vs ours... World of difference. Always been a great srength they have had in the last decade.

These games just confirming my fear of it being one of Pool or City who win this. Chelsea such a weird team this season.

Yeah, him and Jorginho have both seemed replaceable this year. No idea why Kovacic didn't start.

Chelsea need to put a man on Benzema, he is tearing them apart from deep and arriving late into the box with nobody close to him. Easier said than done, but at this rate, he’ll bag 4 by full time.

Real Madrid can be so odd. When they play like this they can be a match for anyone in Europe and potential winner and then they can play like they did against Barcelona and look so lethargic

How much must Chelsea regret the Lukaku signing

Benzema was injured against Barca.

La liga is a bit wank. These lads only get really motivated on European stage.

He’s been top class since his early Lyon days. Don’t even want to think how much more we could’ve won if we saw value in the market back then. I genuinely believe, abysmal weather apart (perhaps a big factor for someone living in Southern France), he was more interested in United move than Real. We were a better and more prospective team back then
Nah, he was all about Real Madrid. If he was more interested in United, he would have gone there as SAF was all over him, crap weather or not. French people, for whatever reason, don't seem to really dream of playing in England as much as for Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Benzema was injured against Barca.
As great as Karim is, I don't think he would have changed too much in that game.

He was criticised by pro-Madrid press around then as well. One of those guys that performed almost every season, and the two of them he didn't, he merited some support but yet everyone even Madrid fans pounded him, but I know that's how the world goes in football.

Mount is the weak link in this setup.
Kante and havertz should be linked up more often and Mount should do that.

Shitshow from Bayern and not improving so far. Can't handle their intensity at all, even situations without immediate pressure are a festival of misweighted passes or glaring misunderstandings between players. Feels like the cup game against Gladbach, although the score is much friendlier so far.
