Champions League 2022/23 - Matchday 3 - 4/5 October

PSG looks so good, feels like cheating in FIFA.

Thankfully you know their defenders are gonna bottle it in the knock out stage as always, throwing away all the goals scored by MNM

Celtic are doing most of the attacking initiative so far after almost a full half. They are miles above the old Celtic teams under Rodgers/Lennon in Europe.

funny watching PSG defend....Messi and Neymar just walk around the pitch while the other 7 guys defend wiht Mbappe somewhat helping out

Celtic doing well and unlucky not to be leading imo. They look the more dangerous team going forward than Real Madrid do, who just can’t break them down.

I am from Zagreb my friend. Born and bred. This club ruined our football and i want him to lose every single game
This must be a sad night for you then. Imagine a club which plays CL ruined Croatian football.

Chelsea should sack Tuchel and get Ange…Outside of the workrate you can see how brilliantly coached they are. Constantly working patterns to isolate the wingers one on one. Obviously Madrid have started to dominate but the first 25 minutes were just incredible - Celtic going toe to toe with Madrid pressing high.

Juventus are like deer in headlights. Shambles.
I don't even think PSG are defending that well. This Juventus team is just severly toothless and too underpowered to hurt anyone currently.

Is Ange tactically astute and all or is he just the sounded chap on earth so the players play out of their skin so he stays forever and they get to keep hanging out with him?

Was he responsible for the influx of Japanese players or was that someone else at the club?

Someone in the Chelsea thread said that Chelsea should go for him and it got me wondering if he'd actually be considered for a Prem move.

Yes, J- league was where he was managing in.

One of the pundits (so presumely a bit... educated?) on Bt Sports goals show just said 'hyperbowl' ... this is something Eddie Hearn did a couple weeks back too. Just how common is this?

Is it because it was rarely actually said until recently and they've only seen in typed format?

Bit off topic, but okay.

Funny how you think Neymar is walking and Mbappe somewhat helping out.

I think Neymar is somewhat helping out, but Mbappe/Messi are just walking about.

Juventus have no business being in the CL. They just got very lucky everyone else outside the Top 3 in Seria A last season were just so incredibly shit by comparison. I honestly don't know how that league still has 4 CL spots.

Fofana looks an even worse signing than Maguire for the money!
Let's not get crazy. Fofana has a massive task ahead of him if he wants to become a worse transfer than Maguire.

Another great chance for Celtic. They have been incredible. Expect them to run out of steam from here but what an account they have given of themselves against the Champions of Europe.

Been saying for a while, Tuchel is in big trouble.

He's so negative and the players look miserable and uninspired.
