Cesc Fabregas

Scholesy's just looking for attention here, plenty of times he will say the opposite of what people say just because it will seemingly put the light on him - if you lot learned to ignore that, he'd probably cease to do it.

There's no way someone has an honest opinion that Guthrie is a class above Anderson, Modric is among the best ten or five players of the decade, technique cannot be improved past the age of 16, Delfouneso has more talent than Pato or you can judge player after watching him for 10 mins or reading ratings on a football forum. It's apparent for what it is.

He's a twat. The sort of bloke the would punch someone through a crowd then go and hide.

Let them have their fun Alastair, meanwhile the real cock of all cocks plays in their shirt.

The difference we can admit that he is a big cock, however you gooners seem to be blind when it comes to your own players, maybe the Wenger effect is coming down on Arsenal fans.

There was one against Hull a couple of years back when he was accused of spitting on the assistant manager. Subsequently, it came out that he just made it up, out of bitterness. It happens all the time. Only at the weekend did a story come out about him refusing to give shirts out, and the true story was almost completely different.

Which one's that then?

I thought storey was the only one who lapped up Wenger's smoke and mirrors bullshit.

Turns out you all do.

Would you tell people to feck off in those circumstances, bearing in mind it's going to (correctly) make you look like an arrogant self-important disrespectful prick?

The Huddersfield player who said that Cesc said feck off at him later retracted the comment, because he'd made it up.

I don't think he meant it literally, he was just saying that Fabregas said he couldn't have one in the vernacular.

I like Fabregas, he's a narky little cnut on the field but that's what you want in a CM

He seems a really nice lad off it (as in, a long way off it, not on the sidelines berate the fourth official or in the dressing room chucking pizza at knights of the realm). A bloke I know who's worked with him on some charity thing said he's an absolute gent.

Is this poster just looking for attention too?

How retarded is it to attract the kind of attention Scholesy does ? I mean, if it was to put himself in a good light I'd understand but what's there to be happy about being called an idiot almost every single time ?

Plech's rarely controversial in his opinions. You just seem to randomly bump into threads, look around to see what people are saying and then offer your opinion which is either a complete opposite (see here) or extremely strange (see your opinion on a few playera nobody pays attention to). There's a difference.

Why did you have an attack on me in this thread?

There is at least one poster who thinks the same as me, so I am not alone om this debate. You are ruining the forum by starting to mention my overall reputation, you must stick to football and United, because there are a few others like wr8_utd who will soon be along to join in the attack, and spoil the forums even more. Most posters believe my opinions are genuine, the thing I admit to is that I do not wear the red tinted glasses.

He seems like he can be a bit of a mouthy git but he rarely does much more than that, never thought he was particularly annoying. I've thought now and again he seems quite a likeable and respectable bloke in interviews as well.

Second best midfielder in the world too.

 Xavi, Iniesta, Sneijder, that's 3 definitely better, and plenty more debatable ones.

Schweinsteiger, Ozil, Kaka

Fabregas eclipes all of them like a massive death star.

Kaka was a sublime player, but hasn't reached the level of previous years for the last two/three seasons.

Schweinstieger, whilst class, is not quite as Cesc's level in terms of passing and all round play.

Ozil has only been at a top club for six months, during which time he has proven his immense ability. Let's see if he cuts it against top class opposition in the CL, then we can judge properly.

Schweinstieger is the most complete midfielder of the lot. Imo, better than Ozil.

Kaka - that's hardly surprising considering he's been carrying an injury and eventually had a surgery and only came back recently.

Scheinsteiger - he's more complete but possibly not as good as Cesc as an AM.

Ozil - he's a regular for Germany, unlike Cesc who is a sub for Spain.

Anyway, as I said, it's debatable, but each can be considered better than Cesc in some ways.

Well fair enough. I would just say though that whilst Cesc is a sub for Spain, there's no way on earth he wouldn't play for Germany.

Thank you.

It's a shame though that he is, currently, used as Bayern's attacking midfielder by Louis van Gaal - although he was world-class as a defensive midfielder/central midfielder this year.

He'll probably play alongside Ozil, not instead of Ozil though...

Has nothing to do with red tinted glasses, you don't need them to realise that half of players you big up are average, half of players you criticise are top notch and your opinions on other matters regarding football like development of technique or using players in different positions are dodgy - those things have nothing to do with United, in fact Fabregas one is the first one I've seen from you that comes remotely close to having anything to do with the objectivity of United fans, apart from the balance of Arsenal side - though people there jumped at you mostly because you've barely seen them play.

By the way, Fabregas isn't the best midfielder in the world but he's pretty close and one day I believe he will be there. At the minute Xavi is above him but seeing as he's being lined up as Xavi's successor at Barcelona, it's bound to change. I doubt we will have a midfielder as good as him in the next decade and before people jump at me, I don't count Scholes - as good as he is, he doesn't fulfil the same role for us anymore and won't play 40 games a season.

This does not make him a 'massive cheat' and in the same league of 'Busquets and Terry', are you a wum?

I only read ratings forums when the match is not on television or I am watching United instead.

You think I'm going to sit and find all the links of all his dives? If you've ever watched him play consistently for Spain or Barca you'll know what a cheat he is. Magnificent player but a sneaky cheat. Dives and rolls all over the pitch.

I don't mind Fabregas at all. He's always seemed a likable chap off the field. Can be a bit of a moaner and an irritating fecker on it but hey we'd love him if he was our player.
