Our defence is trash unfortunately. I think we need a couple centre back's at least
Why don’t you think smaling or beilly will do? Also pil jones and linderloaf can do a job, but I think we should get rid of roho.
It takes a real talent to spell all 5 names wrong in one post!

He is correct in waiting though. This is the trouble having an interim manager. Imagine splashing 60m on a CB who the new manager might not want. We should stick with what we have now until the summer and clear out the dead wood and sign 2 new CBWoody will claim through the press we don't want to rush a CB signing and will wait for the summer. Hopefully he actually brings someone in during the summer this time.
We should be going for the title and we won't do it with this defence without a meltdown from others

I thought he was trying to be funny but the other4 names suggests he's just the worst fan ever
Bailly has had 2.5 years and hasn't gotten any less rash. I don't think he's worth the investment of any more coaching - he's raw and I can't see him changing
Best to wait now. Jones is out of contract in the summer and should be released. I would imagine Rojo, and Darmian will be sold in the summer as they have hardly played. Tuanzebe will come back. We will go into next season with Smalling, Lindelof, Bailly, Tuanzebe (new CB). Although I would let Bailly go aswell and bring in a second CBYep
We will have to deal with it until summer which I am ok with. It means we have a plan. Or grab a loan deal maybe but likelihood of us loaning someone who is decent is slim
I think he was taking the piss. Did you see the comment he was replying to? The guy listed about 10 defenders and spelled every single one wrong.
I wouldn't let our Board (analysts) buy anyone to be honest. We have spunked away serious amounts of money. Get a DOF in, and a new manager and let them make the decisions. In certain positions i agree but United should know the type of CB we want and the manager will have to select from a lot of players he didn't sign anyway.
It's not like a manager isn't going to want one of the top shelf defenders we should be targeting
I'd take Maguire in a heartbeat.
It might, but i'd still take him over any of our current CB options, which is not saying much to be fair.Could see his lack of pace being a real problem now we're going for it more in games

Get in an experienced player like Koulibaly and a top quality talent like de Ligt and rotate him with Lindelöf. Keep Jones as a backup and sell Rojo, Bailly and Smalling.
Yes, and very solid on the ball. Is that an upgrade worth the money Leicester will want, I'm not sure. But he's English in addition so I would bring him in if I was Woody. At least he's an animal in the air. We look very weak aerially
Jones will never be back up, he's made of glass. Smalling will stay and the others will go

Not wrong but I have concerns about Smalling's ability to open play. His passing has generally not looked up to scratch but admittedly this might also look different in a team where people actually move into positions to receive a pass. So yeah I'll reserve my judgment on him until I have seen him in our new system.
