I don't care that it started the move that led to Mainoo's goal but that bicycle kick in midfield. You wouldn't see it in u-10s. He doesn't give a shit.
I think he's dreadful, but my impression was that was a deliberate and clever pass. I'd have to see it again.

First time I've genuinely thought he was cooked as he wasn't even mobile whilst making some of those utterly disastrous passes and his recovery ability after them was appalling.

:(

Get rid immediately. Liability. Play Mount or Amrabat or Eriksen in his position. Also play Amass left back instead of Wank Bissaka

Challenging Rashford for worst player of the season.

Really hope we get rid in the summer, he's only going to get worse the older and unfitter he gets.

The thought of bringing Cas and Erkisen here was always built on temporary foundation, and now that foundation is collapsing rather fast. Oh well, it's the same club that considered Arnautović and Choupo-Moting after all, and honestly win and draw vs Pool looks like a nice surprise.

Back to playing McTominay as DM, soon. Rheumatism is real in this team.

It staggers me he stayed on all match - just so bloody slow and his passing is shocking now.
His only strength is headers in either box - no brainer to get rid but only Saudi can do it

Actually started off decent enough day but gradually went downhill , a bit like his Utd career so far.

Some his passing and movement today in the 2nd half was criminal , if a player in your pub team was doing it you would take him off.

There's no hiding he looks past it, but feck me he's not being helped by the tactical setup of the side. Think even prime Casemiro would struggle doing the role he is being asked to do.

If he stays, I bet we see a return to much better form next season under a new coach.

I said it at the time.it was mental to pay 60 million for a 30 year old and offer those wages. Any moron could see that he would be an issue in a few years.

I think it's all to do with drive. Last year he came in saying "i can fix it" and thought we were close to a title challenge. By the back end of last season and during this season he could see the ambition of the club wasn't there.

After that he was phoning it in.

He's being asked to do too much on his own.

He might not have the legs anymore but for the role he is doing, not many players would. It's hard to really assess him fairly.

But yeah some of those clearances were very tired and resulted in Liverpool recycling possession when the ball should have been upfield.

On the other hand, he might not be 100% fit and still trying to rehab a persistent injury that requires rest.

He was one of our best players last season but even then I hated some of his decisions and him misplacing passes too many times. Man is 32 and think we've been witnessing his decline that started to show in 2nd part of last season.

A bit like the whole team, can produce moments of brilliance but really poor for most of the games and looks like he is struggling physically.

He and Bruno are just giving it away, and Mainoo is just a young lad with very little experience with incredible talent, we don't really have a midfield and it shows in each game. Eriksen is a 20 min player from a 45-60 min. Then we have McTom and Amrabat.

Case has fallen into the Matic mold, cost a lot, looked good for 6 months and now we need to cut our losses.

He’s not being asked to do anything crazy. They’re supposed to work together as a 3 but it seems to break down all the time. There were times he was on the same line as Bruno and Mainoo and neither of them dropped to cover the space he had left. It’s disastrous from them 3.

We really should try and cash-out this summer while he still has some years left on his contract and some resale value. He’d probably be fine with going to a Saudi retirement home - I can’t see any European team willing to match his salary here.

On the one hand, he's back to his usual good defensive stand up tackles and interceptions. On the other, he's cleared physically cooked and still has the same issues with outrageous poor passing choice, although he did improvise well to start the attack for Mainoo's goal.

Great last year. A shadow of himself this year. I don’t think he’s helped by ETH’s midfield tactics either.

He looks absolutely shit.

Now, it could well be because of the tactics make him worse than he really is, but he looks really shit.

He lacks a lot of discipline for an experienced player. We can go on about him being targeted by refs, but he does himself no favours with his wild tackles and persistent fouling.

He’s absolutely useless, worried Saudi’s won’t want him now.

I was hoping he'd get sent off at the end so we don't have to see him for a while again.

Was that his Neville vs West Brom performance?

He was really bad on and off the ball.

The injuries have finished him off (he was hardly injured at Real).

Reminded me of Fabinho last season.

Saudi is calling.

He has to be carrying an injury. Most 40 year olds run faster than that. He’s still in good physical shape. It reminds me of Ferguson’s last season where Evra played with an injury that prevented him from sprinting.

The amount of times in the last 2 games he has gone to press the ball carrier and they have just shifted it to the side and ran past him is incredible. Probably doesn't even show up on the metric sites as being dribbled past as he didn't get close enough to even make a challenge. The worst part is the half hearted jog back afterwards.

I think if you were playing an orthodox 2 in a more compact set up you would get a lot more out of him, but it is truly baffling that Ten Hag thought he could cover the space that this set up inevitably leaves

He was laughably bad. Should be a sub for the rest of the season.

My memory might be patchy but I recall Ronaldo being even worse. It's all about popularity and Casemiro is still a massive name in football.

Sell him for a small fee - £100 million or something.

Loves a slide. Thinks he is enjoying his retirement at a water park while getting paid 20m a year. It's good to be him.

They aren't trying to win the CL ffs  he'll be fine over there. Unless we force him to stay for another year because we cant afford a replacement.
