Carabao Cup 2022/23

When's the last time these cnuts lost a shootout?

Yes, although the chances of a World Cup finalist needing to appear in that stage of the competition would always be slim.

We could beat Villa tomorrow and get City in next round.

I honestly think this competition is a distraction we simply can't afford this year. The squad isn't strong enough and the schedule is a joke.

That kid is Everton through and through. Missed a sitter in the last 10 minutes to win it too

Derby are really shit at taking penalties. Liverpool's keeper is very good at saving them.

Turning into a penalty saving specialist this Kelleher fella. He's bailed out Liverpool once or twice before I think.

We couldn’t hit the building they store the cows in. Actually, when we went to try and hit the building, to destroy said cow, we would have gotten on the wrong flight, and this even miss the country.

To be fair, we aren't exactly clincal ourselves

Seems like anytime I've watched Kelleher in a penalty shootout he's saved at least 3 everytime.

I’d usually like to go for every available cup, especially where we are as club now. I’m not really arsed about the result tomorrow though, plus’s to a win or lose.

City will be the team to beat in this so be would be a bit pointless getting deep into it with a crazy schedule to face those late on.

fecknliverpool too, hopefully it’ll jam up for them and cause them headaches

1. Arsenal
2. Manchester City
3. Newcastle
4. Tottenham
5. Manchester United
6. Brighton
7. Chelsea
8. Liverpool
9. Fulham
10. Crystal Palace

5 of the current top 10 out already.

The only time I can ever remember Liverpool losing on pens was against City years ago.

If you were a German Liverpool fan penalties must be your favourite thing in football

I thought we should throw this one away but with Liverpool looking on their way out, I was starting to reconsider. Of course, they go on to win on pens.

Stop being scared of every team out there. In a one off game we can beat anyone. We should be going to win this cup this season.

It'll be just like us to blow it tomorrow.

Could care less about this.Time to rest the regular starters,we don't need the extra games right now,we're not ready to be winning anything this year,it's all about top four this season and attracting the right players in the summer window then we'll be better placed to challenge for trophies next year (Hopefully).

You can’t keep saying that year after year. It’s been what 7-8 yrs now? I always believe a start to being a top team is winning a trophy, even the League Cup. It breeds confidence in the players when they’ve been on the podium. You have to start somewhere.
