Hopefully that patch allows the Prologue car import thing. There must be something in there where not everyone needs to own the car, otherwise it would be a bit daft. You had to complete all S-Class events in Prologue to unlock it. Elvis obviously would never get near it.

I think he owns the F1 2007 from Prologue. Hence his expectation that he can import them to GT5 on a future patch.

They made a feck up with the Prologue game saves, so you can download one and play with the F1 2007 even if you never earnt it, so this maybe the reason. Pisses me off, not because of the amount of credits it took to buy it, but rather the effort that had to go in to completing those S-Class events. S-10 was a bitch, I finally did it with a tuned Corvette I think - Suzuka again, that track sends me round the bend.

Sorry bro.You'll have to buy the cars. Shouldn't cost more then about 400,000 for the first 3 'maybe even 50k less' and the race cars can be bought for about a 850,00. I wouldn't worry to much as it won't be an every weekend thing. Probably once a fortnight or so. The last race will depend on the availability of the F2010 otherwise i'll find something else 'probably a cheap super car or something'
When you go online the cars are all availible. Well, most of them. The F1 cars aren't. Unless we are allowed to buy our own tune them and use those versions.

Well we were driving various cars earlier on online that we didn't own so I guess we can. Best thing to do is open up a private lobby for testing purposes and see what cars are available to us and design around that.

We already have a couple of newbies racing. They were in before we hit 16 so they're safe. If other newbs wish to join they can, but first preference goes to any main that wishes to Join. We only have 5 seats left by the way.

Am I right in this, that with online you can drive any car specified by the host even if you yourself don't have it? I'm thinking about the F1 here. Does Marchi, as the host, have to earn/buy that car first?
What are the times like for people. I'm thinking either Friday night, Saturday late morning, Saturday night, Sunday late morning. Simply for the whole time difference is works well with everybody.

Interesting how it would stack up though if fixed like that, as you'd have people in Europe playing after being up all day, people in Australia only just awake, people in LA stuffed with lunch, and people in New York getting ready for dinner.

Saturday and Sunday mornings will be no good for me as I usually have to work a fair amount of them. 22:00 GMT should be fine on most occasions.
The perfect situation would be to renationalise it into three blocks, Americas, Europe/Africa, Asia/Australasia with the top four players from each then coming together for a worldwide finale. However, we're not a gaming site, and would have problems with the numbers.

Yeah. I'm eleven hours ahead, so your 10pm is my 9 am which I can do on Saturdays and Sundays.

Yeah, this is something that will have to be taken into account, Sundays at 9pm we play poker, usually lasts around a couple of hours depending on numbers.
Nobody is talking about Sunday at 9pm, Australia will be Monday morning at work! The only sensible solution is Saturday night GMT around 22:00. If you do it Friday, America will still be at work.

By the way, prize cars will be given for each round winner by me. It will generally correlate with the cars you'll be driving. IE: you'll probably get a Lambo SV for winning the 458/Gallarado race. They'll be good cars don't worry.
