BVB (Bottlespielverein Borussia Dortmund) watch | You love to see it | Absolute weapons

Yeah, EPL fans are totally different. I once pointed out that the EPL was a tactical mess until Guardiola and Klopp were brought in. Half the board had their forks and torches out to defend the most competitive league in the world, whatever that means.
You pointed it out but didn't actually know what you were talking about so were unable to back it up. Don't worry, the other Bundesliga fans will take notice of your valiant efforts to fight against the big mean PL bullies and the brave defence of your league, you can all hold hands and sing kumbaya and eat schnitzel watching Bayern sleepwalk their way to another title.

These threads about the Bundesliga and the antics of the "Bundesliga Defence Alliance Members" are more entertaining than the actual league.

Don't be too harsh on the BuLi supporting cast fans.. "good tactical education" and "modern football" is all they have.

What's your point? He should have come to Utd to sit on the bench like Van de Beek?

He wasn't going there because Dortmund guarantees trophies.

He's literally there because he expected to play more minutes knowing full well he'll leave Dortmund in a couple of years. As Dortmund expects as well, most likely.

Point is they are playing him every week as promised and he's not ready and the midfield is getting walked through offering zero protection to the back four.

You love to see it.

Which is a criticism on Dortmund and I tend to agree. I think they're overdoing the youth buys to the detriment of their first XI.

After taking the Big L in the summer it's understandable for some United fans to be smug about it now. I'm not sure if I'm a member of the "Bundesliga Defence Alliance" but I was one of those guys saying that the Sancho deal was incredible unlikely but for some it was like convincing Qanon folks that Biden is going to be president.
Anyway in the end it was a good decision by United not to buy Sancho and fair play to United fans for bantering Dortmund about it.

Dortmund has become a souless team. They just pick yound talented footballers aiming to sell them with a profit. They have really no aspiration to win anything, just to compete for CL places and advertise their selling model.

What I find more fascinating is how intrigued and defensive they are about a club that is meant to be their “rivals”. Imagine a bayern forum bantering Liverpool and then Utd fans coming to the rescue. It’s baffling!

Exactly this! It’s weird as feck

Those were my points. Please enlighten me, where have I been wrong?

It’s because the dynamic isn’t the same. There’s been loads of competition over the decades in English football and fans see other clubs as equals: competitors and historic enemies. That’s why it’s unimaginable for you to defend Liverpool on a Bayern forum.

But in Germany it’s different. Bayern have won more than triple the amount of titles as anyone else. Sure, fans of other clubs may see them as enemies in isolated seasons here and there but it’s never been a consistent thing throughout their history. Bayern are more like the abusive dad, than any kind of competition. That’s why it’s more of a nationalistic, protective dynamic. If you insult Bayern, you’re insulting the family household, and it’s the same for the kids (the other German clubs).

Dortmund has not sold anyone to Bayern in like 5 years or so? We can talk about Bundesliga being a farmer league with only one team capable of winning, but that would be the state of the EPL too if Bayern were playing there. They are just so much better than the top English sides, proved times and times over again.

Also interesting that people are referring to Dortmund as Europa League team and that they should just sell their players cheaply to United. I think we'll have to double-check who's in the UCL and who's not.

Why do you have the username of Pogvani and support Chelsea?

Utterly bizarre but probably tells you all you need to know about the one horse league.
Bayern no longer see anyone as rivals, there are feeder clubs who drop their pants to them every Summer, and there’s Bayern.

Funniest post I’ve read in a while. You just made my day mate.

Bayern are so much better than all the top sides in England?  It’s amazing some of the thought process that goes on in the likes of these posts. The last time they played a “top” English side, Liverpool comfortably thumped them 1-3 in their own fortress ground and waved them goodbye out of the champions league.

Absolutely no chance Bayern win the league every year if they were in the premier league.

I mainly watch La Liga, I don't have a team in the prem. I prefer Chelsea, but I have always enjoyed lurking this forum so why not? I have nothing against United. I do however think that you're flying a bit too high at the moment, you're really not in a position to diss a team that has been dragginig you through the mud on the transfer market, and of course, are still in the UCL.

Not going to answer people responding with '' btw, I get it- you don't have an argument. Also, the fact that Liverpool beat Bayern several years ago isn't relevant now. They're at a whole different level, and I have no doubt that they would walk the EPL just like they do in Germany. No team in England is capable of steam-rolling Chelsea the way Bayern did.

Christ on a fecking bike, I'm only 34 but I feel so out of touc with the modern day football fan. Since when did it become the norm to defend an opposition team, or this just a bundesliga thing?? Imagine United fans even attempting to defend Liverpool, or arsenal doing the same the spurs, etc.

Incredible!

Liverpool wiped the floor with them just 2 seasons ago, and annoyingly as feck the cnuts then got better last season.

And as for “No team in England is capable of steam-rolling Chelsea the way Bayern did.”... well just a couple of months before Bayern did that, the 3rd best side in England did erm...

Alright how many of us are going to the Bayern forum and defending any negative posts about Klopp and Liverpool?

I'm going to join a Bayern forum call myself ThomasMullerFan claim I support Schalke then do nothing but defend any and every PL team from the slightest criticism.

Perfectly normal thing to do

To be fair, if Bayern were in the EPL this season, they might well win it. Point is though, they wouldn’t be able to go and buy de bruyne, and mane, or Harry Kane, or Bruno to ensure all the other teams can’t touch them. Their dominance would last a season, maybe two if they were lucky. How many leagues have they won in a row now?

Then again, look at Dortmund, even when presented with top players (Haaland, Sancho, Reus etc.) they still cant stop losing games.

I did it all Summer when Chelsea dragged them through the mud on CHO, I couldn’t get enough of sticking up for Chelsea. I lived for that shit, I got mates to join me, I set up fake accounts called Robbery and said I was a Schalke fan, ahhhh I miss them days.

No foreigner takes the piss out of the renties on my fecking watch!

They certainly wouldn't win it every year either
