Dortmund is doing some restructuring of their management.

They are looking to install a former player as a team manager / counduit between the squad, the coach and DoF Zorc - Sebastian Kehl and Lars Ricken are named in the article. The club supposedly wants to finalize the contracts by next week.
And they also bring back Matthias Sammer into the club, as an external advisor to hold strategic meetings with Watzke and Zorc.
 
Stuttgart vs. Hamburg is funny.

First Hamburg scored and Holtby celebrated with a Fornite dance and then Ginczek scored for Stuttgart and he celebrated with a Fornite dance.
 
Poor from Bailey, the shot from Brandt was going in and he couldn't get out of the way and therefore goal was disallowed. Brandt doing really well (atleast from the 2nd half, when I started watching), nice to see.
 
Referee (T. Stieler) in the Schalke-Freiburg game is on the take.

Gave Schalke a ridiculous penalty from a blatant dive just after Freiburg looked like scoring.

Was then asked to consult VAR by Freiburg players and didn't do so.

Moments later he sent off Nils Petersen (second yellow) for apparently saying something to him (probably related to the pen)

Where do the Bundesliga get these referees?

Never heard of Stieler before but I'll be keeping an eye on him.

2-0 Schalke now. Undeserved

He later books Leon Goretzka and is fawning over him, almost apologising. What a twat.

To be fair, it wasn't a dive. Watch it again.

But the part with Petersen, it's incomprehensible.
Just don't know much about Stieler? Maybe better so.

Search about Wiedwald and Stieler, search abot Aron Johansson and Stieler. Ibisevic and Stieler.

I don't know if it's our Mike Dean, but don't know why refs like this are allowed.

I have watched it a couple of times and I'm going to have to disagree with you on the penalty.

The player fouled, Embolo, was just clever. He kicks the ball away from Freiburg's Gulde and runs into him. . . throws the back legs up . . . and dives.
Ridiculous penalty to give.

Sending off Petersen basically handed the game on a plate to Schalke just as Freiburg were looking as if they might get something from the match.

Thanks for the references there regarding Stieler with other players. He seems like a bit of a baby with a habit of sending players off for talking to him.

I'm not sure because there weren't many replays but i think Pizseck was playing Lewa on.

And VAR correctly removes Bayerns second
 
Robbery on the wing for Bayern. They aged well like fine wine. Feels like 2013 all over again. And Buerki always looks like trash whenever i see him playing. Very poor goalkeeper

Most of the Bayern fans don't want new contracts for Robbery and i completely agree with that.
Dortmund and the Bundesliga is just awful. I don't think they will big games with Robbery on the wings, we will see in the semis.
 
This is reminding me of the Barca 5-0 vs Madrid in 2010, just insane tactics from Stoger from the start. Pushing up against this Bayern side, at their home! No defensive support from midfield.
 
Castro comes off after 28 minutes.

I like Castro, a long term Bundesliga player for two good top tier teams but he is not a fecking defensive midfielder like Stoger was playing him. You cannot play Castro and Dahoud against Bayern, its suicide.

They definitely are. They have one of the best managers in the world according to some so comeback is still on.
 
Weigl, piss poor pass that. May aswell be 10-0 in 2nd half. Ribery looks lively. Is he gonna extended with Robben or Bayern gonna search for new winger in summer?

On side note, how come Dortmund get into this situation after all? Tuchel first season was very good to say, but after that it went downhill. Bad management and recruitment or else? Curious to know why
