Bundesliga 2016/17

I really don't know if i want Hamburg or Wolfsburg in the second league, such a hard choice. I think if Wolfsburg go down, the project would be pretty much over and VW cuts their budget.

Sabitzer with a great response to the sky guys bullshit question

Hamburg and Wolfsburg playing next week and they're the only teams which can land on the 16th place. Will be an amazing battle. Hamburg needs to win, Aufsburg and Mainz are save.

Not completely correct. HSV wins and Augsburg loses by several goals, then Wolfsburg can still overtake Augsburg. Augsburg just has to lose by at least one goal more than WOB.

Okay, that's right but at the moment Wolfsburg would loose to (at least -1 on goal difference) and Augsburg needs to loose with 3 or more because they have more goals.

Today was utterly brilliant :cool::cool::cool:
Great atmosphere, 4-2 after 0-2 vs Eintracht, staying up and a pitch invasion to boot :D

Bojan MotM, shame he's only on loan and we probably can't afford to buy him, he's so good

Robben's run for the winning goal was incredible. To think he's 33... what a player. It's no wonder we can't seem to get anyone to replace him, because who the f*ck can.

I actually think there still is no one in world football, who is a better right winger than him. And it has been like that for many years.

Robben is comfortably one of the best wingers of the last 20 years.

Relegation battle is done in the Bundesliga. Braunschweig will be third and they are losing 6:0(!) to the 16th of the second Bundesliga. Hamburg, Wolfsburg and Augsburg will beat them easy in relegation.

Vítor Pereira close to becoming a fan favourite of Bayern. Munich 1860 on relegation play off spot

Not 100%. Three points and a six goal difference to Hannover. Hannover are at Sandhausen, who have nothing to play for. Braunschweig are at home against last placed Karlsruhe, who are losing 1-4 at home right now. Not impossible for Braunschweig to pull the goals back. Absolutely insane though to allow themselves to get hammered like that by the 17th placed team, when goal difference could be crucial at the end.

They'll escape relegation again, just like Hamburg. By winning those fecking relegation playoff games, that I hate so much :(

Don't underestimate Vítor Pereira's capabilities  I can see them getting surpassed by Wurzburger Kickers. He has done an awful job so far.

Don't jinx it ffs.

Don't jinx it ffs.

Will they still use the same stadium in the 3 Bundesliga? I don't think even the jinx mambo jambo will save them with Pereira managing  Feck just saw that Kickers are away to Stuttgart. Forget about it

No, pretty sure they'll move out of the Allianz Arena if they go down. That's the big reason why I want them to get relegated. I want us to have the stadium to ourselves.

Absolutely no chance. HSV and 1860 will not get relegated. Ever. They are just teasing and breaking your heart.

They've been looking for spots to build their own box for a while now. They thought they had found a spot at Riem, but all of a sudden investor Ismaik decided 35000 seats wern't enough, he wanted 50000-55000, which was complete news for everyone else involved and for that, the Riem spot isn't big enough.
Supporters would like a new build where their old home is, in Giesing, but that's not going to happen either. (former player Schwabl had quite advanced plans for that made 15 years ago, when this might still have been possible, but the then-management shooed him away. Schwabl, being a true Sechzger, so far has succeeded in running a couple of other businesses in the ground, so maybe they had a point).

They really have a knack for messing things up, our blue neighbors.

They very possibly will end up in the Olympiastadium which is a gem and would benefit from being used regularily again, but is neither very good for football nor approved by their own supporters.
I see them rapidly approaching the 10.000 avg. visitors mark if that happens, and there are few stadiums on earth more depressing than the Oly 1/5th full.

They will break my heart if they mess up getting relegated.

The only teams that are not in run for either CL/CL Qualification - Europa League/Nothing or Relegation spot/Save Haven are Bayern, Leipzig, Schalke, Frankfurt, Ingolstadt and Darmstadt. All of the others have atleast some little hope or fear...

Bibiana Steinhaus is announced to be the first female referee in the Bundesliga next season.

Is there other female referees in the top leagues?

So who is going to play-out between Hamburg and Wolfsburg? Both teams won't have any problem against Braunschweing though.

In those matches being better does not mean an automatical win especially not if it is a derby like with Wolfsburg and Braunschweig who are 35 kilometres apart...
