Bruno should never be captain again

It was a ridiculous decision to ever make Bruno captain and he’s proven it time after time that he isn’t an example for the rest of the team.
Downing tools in the 7-0 loss to Liverpool, throwing his arms in the air whenever the going is tough and stupid tackles when we least need it.
Add to that the unending poor form.
Find someone with the right attitude, please

Once this isn't to do with two frankly absurd red card calls then its a fair conversation

None of them were absurd. Not even close. Maybe the 2. yellow vs Spurs was a little harsh, but it was certainly not absurd. And the one tonight was textbook dangerous play.

The Porto defender got him sent off. Bruno should have known though

I would not complain if he was sold. He is a liability, runs wherever he wants when he wants, he is the main reason for us having no proper formation. Very wasteful with passing and shooting and has too much to say for himself.

It literally got instantly overturned because it was so ridiculous and was a straight red not a second yellow.

The first yellow tonight was never a yellow and the second one wouldn't have been given if Porto player didn't react that way

He's been our best player consistently over a 4 year period, gives everything he's got every single game, has clearly played through pain and injury on multiple occasions and demonstrably loves the club and plays for the badge.

He's had a shit start to the season but some people's willingness to throw him under the bus is despicable. He's clearly still the right choice for captain.

Now now, you’re talking sense. There’s no place for that here

Agreed

Having such a petulant, rash, selfish player as captain just sets the tone for the rest of the squad. Really stupid decision to appoint him!!

But he hasn't been our best player. He was great for the first two seasons. Since then he's been erratic at best. Can play great games and talented of course. Is in decline. I'd get rid of him, personally.
He doesn't lead by example. Is a petulant child on the pitch sometimes. Rival fans don't hate him because he's a great player. They hate him for other reasons. He's not captain material.

He's one of the biggest cheats in the game. He won't and shouldn't ever get the benefit of doubt.

Licha was a fan favourite up until recently. He's rubbish now and a 'teachers pet' apparently. It's toxic here and will be until the manager is bounced.

Terrible thread.

I'm not his biggest fan, far from It, but he has brown hair like me.

I suggest you watch a video of him pulling Luke Shaw away from a Spurs player to give them a free shot at goal when they humped us 6-1 and come back to us.
Yes, that makes him a much worse captain

And that's the reason why Bruno is a better captain than him? Ok.

Foot that high will always end up with yellow if you miss the ball as well.. Thats dangerous play.

He was bad choice for captain. Constantly moaning doesn’t help the team.

Cards aside, his attitude and composure on the pitch are not worthy of the captaincy... whinges about everything but doesn't assume any authority or responsibility on the pitch.

Every overhead kick a yellow then.
