Bruno Martins Indi

The £10m the papers are quoting sounds miles off to me.

Porto just got £30m for Mangala who appears to be absolutely mince, there's no way they'll let BMI go for that.

He's a good player and aside from the World Cup he outshone De Vrij last season who loads seemed to be clamouring over after that. 99% chance it's a load of shite though considering he's done well at Porto and there's no reason whatsoever for them to shift him 6 months after they bought him for a minuscule profit.

Surely we would've signed him before he went to Porto if we really wanted him.

Dont really know much about him, seemed fairly good in the World Cup, and you would assume that LVG knows more than most about him, I was taken by surprise today when a Dutch friend of mine today described him as a nutcase, a bit like a Dutch Balotelli

It's the usual lazy journalism. Porto always drives a hard bargain. They didn't have any problem to put Rolando training alone because Inter didn't accept their demands. It's virtually impossible that he will leave this soon. It would take a very big fee to convince Porto and i don't think he's worth that.

Blackett? He shouldnt even be a first team player or near one, and BMI is much much better.

Why? Because of his second half performance against Leicester? He's been solid otherwise and he's played 90 minutes in both games where we got clean sheets this season. Blackett is a first team player who will be heavily involved whether you like it or not. I like BMI but I question whether he's what we need right now.

He would be no more than another bit of squad filler in a position where we need first team quality.
