Of course they can. In certain games you’ll need extra bodies in midfield obviously but for the majority we can. We need to get back to our old mantra, you score 3 we’ll score 4. If you’ve watched Bruno aswell you’ll know that he’s extremely hard working.

He’s not just some lazy luxury player you have to carry. If Ole can get them all working hard, pressing from the front with a solid back 4 it will be no problem playing them both. Mctominay can do that work in the middle of the park no problem.

Makes sense, I always assumed that it will be imbalanced if Pogba and Bruno played together. However, I m not saying it can’t be done, but I feel like a box to box midfielder + a registra would get the best out of one of these players.

I don't know, I've listened to his podcast before and it never sounded like he had a clue what was going on at the club so I'm inclined to not to take anything he says as reliable info.

A lot of people forget we’ll defend from the front, as a team, and could potentially have a very solid defence. Most games we’ll be in the opposition half, and Pogba and Bruno can actually get stuck in.

Beast in DM? Fernandinho was on the bench or out for large parts of the season. They played KDB, Silva and Gundogan/Foden or push Bernardo Silva to CM. When everybody is pressing, you dont necessarily need a DM

I've thought the same. Last season Matic was shit. This season he will be shit again.

You need energy and to be able.to read the game well to play a midfield 2 alongside someone who pushes forward in a free role like Pogba. Andreas has these qualities and has shown it in the pre season friendlies. So had Scott Mctominay. Both have impressed me.

Ole is clearly going to play a 2 man midfield In alot of games this season and pogba will be one of them. In other games a diamond formation like 80% of games under Ole last season.

Bruno is really attacking judging by his numbers for Sporting. Pogba has always been better for United further forward. This is the general consensus.

Unless we play 442 diamond it just doesn't work for me. I don't think for a second Ole is thinking of playing Pogba Fernandes plus either Matic/mctom/Fred anyway.

You're going to end up disappointed. If Fernandes signs it will be because Pogba is off.
