I’d hate for it to happen but Madrid should push for him as a replacement for Modric.
He's too old to go to Madrid, mate. Also, this attitude towards our best players neefs to end.
I think like Modric, Lampard, Giggs, he's going to have one of those extended careers because he just never seems to be injured or to really slow down. His physical conditioning seems to be absolutely elite. I'm not sure his age would be a problem for most big clubs.

The unfortunate thing is we need him deep to take the ball of the defenders, then also be the player that gets it in the number 10 position and then he's probably our best striker of the ball... So yeah.

He's made of titanium, has the lung capacity of Ji-Sung Park, and thinks on a completely different level to the rest of his teammates. I get frustrated at times when he loses possession with a no-look pass or tries to close down every opponent single-handedly, but there's no denying he's our best player by a country mile.
