World class today
Only absolute melts say that anyway, even when we're all in bad form.Despite what people say we are FAR worse without him in the team.
He was pretty critical of his own performances of late in the post match interview. That was Bruno of old. When he plays like that, he’s indispensable. It’s just a case of being consistent with that.
If Amorim can drill some on-ball discipline into him and a chill pill or two, he’s good in Amorim’s system.
Many of us have fallen into the trap of judging people when everything is shit.
When the whole club is toxic, it’s just so much easier to drop a couple of howlers and put in poor performances. Bruno’s had plenty of those during our never-ending bad patch, but he is without doubt a quality player.
The last slither of hope I hold for United is Ruben being able to get a melody out of a club that, let’s face it, is an out of tune instrument.
If the system clicks and the team as a whole starts playing, Bruno could be very, very good.
If you wouldn't be so invested in all the agenda bla bla bla you would have notice, that I didn't criticized the player for quite some time. He did play well today, as did most of the team and I acknowledged him even in my post in the post-match discussion.I guess those "really mean" comments are going to have to stay in your drafts mate. You must be devastated we didn't lose and Bruno put in a flawless performance.
No. It's more what time on the training pitch has so people know a bit more where they're supposed to be, so they can concentrate on their game. What 2 weeks of rest does to a man who plays full 90s at full pace.
Your comment about losing our heads is so true. Actually felt we did lose it - the release after taking the lead was too much emotion - yet it was impressive to see we managed to rediscover some composure when we could have fallen apart. You're spot on. Most of our players in isolation have a lot more talent than to be playing for a team 14th in the table. Bruno is absolutely world class and one of the most creative midfielders in the world.
Today it was important that we emotionally stayed in the game and didn't lose our heads. That's been an ongoing issue, especially in big games, for years.
There's a lot of room for us to collectively get better. Need to sort out some missing profiles on the market, raise the physical + athletic levels, and sort out the "emotional control" side too
