I still insist if a good offer comes, sell. We need a complete rebuild of the midfield.

He was decent, had some good moments and some bad ones. His set piece delivery was poor, his penalty was good

Well taken pen considering the pressure.

I don’t think he is good enough in this system, perhaps as an 8 against low blocks.

Someone needs to tell him stop complaining at his team mates for his own mistakes, it’s getting annoying and he needs to be removed from taking corners.

A big liability on big games . Was hoping he get substituted , since he joined United he never been good in big games .

Unfortunately he's got that exfactor, which managers like in players. Otherwise i'd say he's terrible in 60-70% of games for us. Today was one of those even games. poor touches but redeemed himself.

What I don't get that he was such a great goalscorer before he came to us, but can't seem to hit the ball properly, even though naturaly shooting opportunities are not as many as in portuguese league. still failing to find target in easy positions.

Drove me fecking mental today. So many poor touches and passes where just a tad more patience or technical security would have sufficed. Not to mention that horrendous finish. Still at the center of a lot of our better moves. Did well to stick away his penalty after he'd had an especially poor 10 minutes.

I think he has to play in the midfield 2 in this formation. We need players who can run in behind and beat a man either side of the striker.

He has two types of corners; One doesn't even make the six yard box and the other is ballooned to the back post. Both are always easily cleared.

Yeah I feel the same. He doesn’t have the technical quality on the ball to play in those advanced positions, and he’s not a running threat either.

He needs space to operate which he gets more of when he’s deeper.

I don’t think he should be a CM long term, either. It’s awfully dramatic but I don’t think he really has fits a role in this system.

His touch completely deserted him today. It was a competition between him and KDB to see who of the two most creative mids in Europe over the last five years could look more dire.

That being said, showed his mettle to convert the penalty after a match like that.

I thought he did pretty well in the sense of us looking after the ball, being controlled. He's shown now that he can play as a CM and be more disciplined. As some of us knew.

Obviously missed the chance but not sure why he's being crucified for it. It happens.

Thought he had a really good game. Missed the chance of course, but he's been in good scoring form recently and converted the pen well.

Take him off corners though. Most of his are horrible

If we're going to make him play in a midfield 2, he's going to have to be so much more disciplined in a positional sense, and also with his ball retention. Both are things that I believe that he needs to work on anyway, but we're asking for a fundamental shift with his game. Even then, still not sure if it's the right thing for the team long-term, or whether Mainoo+Ugarte works better, or just scouting out a more natural fit for that role.

He can be infuriating. However, he is the only one in that midfield that can create.

I reckon the kamikaze passing was down about 5/10% today. Should have netted that chance as that sort of thing is what he’s best at. Win breeds confidence though. We need a confident Bruno, at least for now.

6G+10A already. Relatively poor performance, but such an important penalty scored. Some other players could have probably missed it

The big issue there being that De Bruyne is 3 years older and headed for Qatar/MLS as soon as he can get the chance to go. Fernandes is supposed to still be in his peak.

Wasn’t a great performance by Bruno, however he kept going and got the rewards for that. Miss the first score the second, just keep going and he does that. .

It was a well-taken penalty, but prior to that, I thought his overall performance left a lot to be desired. He was sloppy and, as usual, displayed his trademark moaning demeanor.

I do like the front three of Bruno, Højlund, and Amad, though. However, I’d like to see more from Bruno in terms of creativity and attacking output. That said, he has been quite productive under Amorim, so perhaps I’m being a bit too critical.

He doesn't fit into any other role in this system that's for sure

I don't think Bruno is declining, he just had one of those days imo.

Literally made a great run to get a chance 1 on 1 that Rasmus found, he needs to do it more but he is capable, he needs to trust his team more. Too long he has been in a team where there is no structure or trust and he has to try the impossible, full faith he can be a great player for us in the CM role, the AM role i am not sure he looks after it enough but happy if he can prove me wrong.

So much unappreciates about his game, resetting team position and comstantly talking to others telling them where they should be, even when he has a poor game we always look worse when he is off the pitch because of how he contributes without the ball.

I don't care about the his goal contributions, all I care about is him having 100% pass accuracy. /s

To be fair without Rashford and blinkers Garnacho, his erratic style isn’t that big an issue.

Whether you love him or hate him surely we can all agree he needs to be taken of corner duty, the only Utd player his corners meet is Onana after the balls been scuffed straight at the first man. There's must be a better option.

Eriksen. But he doesn’t play under Amorim, and we simply don’t have corner takers. That’s something the team lacks

Yeah I think so. For this season, I think he's best playing as the LAM. Mount can't be relied upon physically and even though he doesn't have the pace, I think he's more likely to create or do something than Garnacho or Rashford.

He must be trying to get it somewhere near the front post. Surely he’s not trying a variety of lengths and scuffing it to the first defender each time?

I’m not sure what to think of him in midfield. My view is that Amorim prefers either Casemiro or Bruno beside Ugarte, because Mainoo doesn’t progress the ball enough, Especially when we have two defenders as wing backs. I guess it’ll be very flexible until Amorim gets his own players.

The corners are so bizarre. Because if the ball is moved infield a bit and he’s taking a free kick from a wide area, the delivery is almost always perfect.

But yeah, there surely must be a better option. He seems to hit the first defender on 4 out of every 5 corners.

Yep, nobody springs to mind, perhaps a change of tactics, more short corners? Not beating the first man is too dangerous, I can only assume he's doing this due to a lack of height in the box but it's too high risk.
