Started with ETH….last season was our worst and Bruno was one of the worst. Martinez and Casemiro are world class, Rashford has been unbelievable this season. Luke Shaw also is a phenomenal player for us.
Of course ETH was huge but Rash Luke and Bruno were great under Ole when we finished second. Last year for me was an anomaly as a lot of our team (especially England players) played something like a 100 games in a row with no break.

How does he sleep at night, he seems to be so fired up every feckin game, every 3 days.

Him and Fred probably play fifa every night to keep themselves busy while everyone else rest.

Interesting seeing the two of them interviewed after the game. They looked absolutely fecked. I guess it’s their powers of recovery that sets them apart.

I mean his work rate... he just goes and goes. True captain performance today. Need to be a little smarter in our own box but felt very Keane-esque

Maybe let’s see, I still have Casemiro and Martinez on a different level to Bruno and Rashford this season has been at least a level above

Silly foul for the penalty and he knows it. He'll learn from that.

Would love to see what distance he covered tonight. Crazy fitness levels

Nothing silly about a ridiculous descion. One of the worst I've ever seen.

Brilliant tonight, absolutely brilliant.

How? Just how does he manage to play with as much energy game to game but, also with the quality he brings to this side? Almost never injured despite often iffy tackles and is able to just play every 3 to 4 days. Come next season, he needs to be made club captain because he exemplifies that on and off the pitch.

His post-match interview he said at the end of the game he was so tired but the noise and belief of the fans kept him going. I absolutely love this man. We're so lucky to have him.

I don't know why he got yellow, he played to the whistle.

I have a love hate relastionship with Bruno, certainly has improved under ETH but he's such a muppet sometimes. Stupid, stupid penalty to give. I wouldn't be that hurt if he left but plays well enough to be in the starting 11.

Do anyone know how many distance he ran in Barce match?
He was still pressing in the final minutes and hejjust missed 2 games of our all 39 games this season.

He’s a pretty fantastic footballer and these past few weeks have been a reminder as to why. Yes we often get frustrated with his loose passes but when he’s on form and his general play of a high standard, he’s such a hugely influential figure in this team. Immense work rate - as good as I’ve seen from an attacking player, always takes responsibility and highly creative. He must have created so many chances in this past month alone.

He has some engine on him this guy. Running full pelt in the 85th.
And he’s not even just destroying. He has that engine whilst being highly creative. That looping pass to McTominay towards the end was another one - quality stuff.

It was wrong to play him on the right when Barca began so high with Balde behind. Sergi Roberto dragged AWB in the middle, leaving enormous spaces behind Bruno.

I think it was difficult for Bruno to defend deep, and try to influence the team higher on the pitch. Barca clearly cut the connexion between him and Rashford.

He was far better when he was at his position in second half.

I think Bruno can eventually play on the wing, part of a game, or in one game to surprise the defenders but not when opponents are ready to face him like this.

Wouldn't be that hurt if he left? He probably creates 75 percent of our chances.

I don't know why he got yellow, he played to the whistle.

Made no sense, especially when looking at the whole situation in motion. Bruno kicks the ball and yes it hits Frenkie, but the moment Bruno moves to kick the ball Frenkie hasnt fallen over yet.
It was simply Bruno doing the right thing and stopping a potential dangerous situation.
Should never be a yellow and the reaction from the Barca players was completely unnecessary

His energy and creativity are insane. He's a fantastic footballer, lifts his first trophy as captain Sunday?!

Bruno is a great player and one of the few transfer successes before this season. He can be frustrating with the way he plays but he more than makes up for it with his creativity and work rate. He had an amazing world cup and has kept up his form since then. A worthy captain.

To be fair, even if he made up for it in the second half, he did have a shit first half. Need to be consistent in these kind of games.

The whole team was a bit shit in the first half.

What I say about Bruno is his attitude helps us get him through. He could have the worst game of his life, yet when there is a chance for him to do something, he will do it.

He plays for the team, which is the minimum requirement.

Rashford rightly getting a lot of the plaudits but since the World Cup, Fernandes has 11 contributions (4G 7A) in 16 games. In some serious form in his own right since Ronaldo fecked off.

Erratic Bruno to much more composed Bruno. This version I like. Credit to ETH of course.

He is a freak of nature In terms of fitness. Outrageous levels. Reminds me of Beckham in his pomp, not necessarily that quick but just constant sprinting in attacking and defensive phases.

Sets the tone as the captain and the whole team follows. ETH must absolutely love him.

The Penalty was a ridiculous decision IMO, he does find himself wrong side in the box but it is such a blatant dive and sums up everything wrong with football that the dive was rewarded.

You do know that 2 teams play in the game and in big games you are playing the best teams?

You wouldn't expect to consistently be on top

Some of his passes were truly majestic. Masterclass last night even considering how he fecked that penalty.

On to next week’s game where the trolls will shit on him and argue you cant win anything with him starting.

Exactly, if ref blew whistle and Bruno did that it would have made sense.
