For friggery's sake!!

Wish we could have a mulligan on this season already
Appears to be clickbait. If you click and read the article it clearly says " UK COVID-19 regulations say that anyone who has been in direct contact with a confirmed case must self-isolate for two weeks. However, the rule does not apply to footballers who have been in athlete bubbles, as Fernandes has."For friggery's sake!!

Just hoping he continues to test negatively after coming back. If not Donny might have to earn his wings much sooner than later
Pep Guardiola is my idol running with the story
What's up with the hate around this guy? He's affirming reports made by The Athletic already.
Hope that puts it to bed.He said, she said.
Also, ditto regarding all the people pointing out how this is how a leader/committed person quashes a rumor.
The Athletic didn't say that Bruno has lost faith in Ole. The Athletic said Bruno criticised the tactics for the Spurs game. That's not unheard of. Its widely reported United players were dubious about the tactics we used in the 2009 and 2011 Champions League finals. Disagreeing with the way you approach one game does not equate to a general loss of belief in a manager. If these new stories are true that would be a pretty big development.
Someone had to go off and Fred and Mctominay are the most combative midfield pairing we have, being down to 10 it made perfect sense. This is true. However, it does strike me as strange that Bruno was substituted at half-time against Spurs. Ole usually never subtitutes him. The leaked story about it being tactical simply makes no sense; McT and Fred have seldom played together since Bruno has been at the club. Something big definitely happened at HT in that game, but all the stories coming out later could just be the media adding two and two and coming up with eleven as usual. But there is certainly some smoke here.
Thinking about it though, Bruno has a right to question Ole’s tactics as Ole is a managerial novice and he did it after the game was lost. What right did the old players have, like Rooney as much as I love him, to be dubious of SAF’s tactics before a final? The man was a genius. Maybe if they carried out the game plan with more conviction, then we’d have stood more of a chance against Barca. The Athletic didn't say that Bruno has lost faith in Ole. Neither should the rest of them if he isn't up to the task. But it's not on the players to control the dressing room or the manager. Someone above Ole should analyze and make those decisions.Thing with Bruno is that he wasn't here under Mourinho's toxicity. The rest of the squad are still probably grateful to Ole for getting rid of that.
Bruno never had to deal with it and probably doesn't have any extra affection for Ole.
From purely a tactical perspective, it would have made more sense to take Pogba off (who eventually contriubted heavily to conceding two second half goals). Pogba is less mobile and does not bother closing down people. Not saying he is a better player, just that Bruno's skills were better suited to that predicament.Someone had to go off and Fred and Mctominay are the most combative midfield pairing we have, being down to 10 it made perfect sense.
Or Ole is just not a great tactician? You could argue Pogba is more skilful and has a better long pass so it was worth the risk of keeping him on.From purely a tactical perspective, it would have made more sense to take Pogba off (who eventually contriubted heavily to conceding two second half goals). The subsitution certainly seems connected to events at HT -- of course, that does not mean that the inferences the media is making are true.
I watched the game. He was good but not amazing. Did not have such a big role as he has at United, maybe because there are som many other creative attacking players already.Anyone watch him for Portugal?

Nice pass for the first goal (not assist but opening pass).
I'm hoping they are. Cavani I'm quite sure will be at least. If we had 11 players with the attitude of this guy we wouldn't be watching the dross on show currently. Hopefully Telles and Cavani are a step in the right direction.
He plays the same position with Danilo and Carvalho as the 2 DM's behind him and Jota (Ronaldo)/Felix/Bernardo Silva in FrontThanks mate. Do you know if he's playing deeper or a different position at all?
I hear ya!If he isn’t captain material then I don’t know who is. Exactly the type of character that should be wearing the armband for us.
I didn’t think so much about that, so can’t tell reallyThanks mate. Do you know if he's playing deeper or a different position at all?
