Why the hell is there a one month gap between episodes this year? Election or some other reason?
World Series too for good part of that month.
I'm not as big a fan of Holt as some people in this thread, but "vindication!" had me belly laughing.
I came here to simply write "vindication" but you beat me to it. Definitely the highlight of the episode.
His delivery is amazing. That along with his character which helped sell that moment at the end.
Absolutely hate Pimento, shit character.
Thought the latest episode was slightly below par to what BNN is capable of, but still an enjoyable watch. Pimento has to go though. He's such a misfit ironically.

Thought Boyle was excellent last episode. Maybe my strange humour, but its the random stuff he says and Jakes reactions to it.
That B plot was the most cliche-ridden crap I've ever seen from Brooklyn 99. I really hope it was a one-off.
Thought this season has been going downhill, hope they can pull it together as this is one of the funniest when they're on form.

Good new episode, but what was the point of Gina being hit by the bus? In hindsight, that was such a cynical bit of writing. If I'm honest, I find the show a little less likeable because of it.
Chelsea Peretti is pregnant in real life i think, so I'd guess the bus thing is incase she wants time off, or to hide the "bump" while she is hospitalised during the next lot of filming
There were much, much better ways to do that than to have a shock ending. It was a terrible way to end the first half of the season and the resulting pay off hasn't been worth it.
Yeah, I thought the bus thing would bring out something more serious rather than just a shock ending which pretty much gets wiped out except a few gags for the next episode or two.

The show had to address BLM at some point, I suppose. But Eboue's right. It wasn't funny.

Well, imo, it had the right amount of humour for a serious topic. I thought it was done well.
The holt and terry scenes were really good.

Thought Blackish handled BLM quite well, but then thats more of a message-comedy then BNN is.

Holt still has the best stuff. And its the right amount where you want more, but they keep it to that limit so it doesnt get too much.

Really? I think his stuff is the most predictable. Every week he get a different nemesis who's basically the same character re-played over and over again, and they trade wordy insults at each other until Holt takes the higher ground.
