I really fecking dislike Moyes . Everything about him. How overrated he is, the way he speaks, his stupid fecking face. Doesn't he have one of those faces you just have to slap?! I can't wait until he is sacked.
Rodgers>Moyes I agree

Moyes turned Everton from a 15th team to a top 6 one. Rogers has turned liverpool from a mid table team... to a mid table team.
And taken the league winners to 9 th. You really want to go there? Fecking hell.

How has he? Is the season over now?
Come May, United will be in the top 4 and Liverpool will be 6th or lower. Quote me on it if you like.

Funnily enough that's what everyone on here was saying in the summer as well. Is he gone?
I didn't say that because it wasn't true then. It is now.

Come on now, if you haven't seen the progress under Rodgers you're clearly not watching the football.

The fact I don't know where Liverpool finished last season is proof enough that they are insignificant still. If Liverpool are to be the club they should be, I wouldn't have to ask to know. I would just know.

Shows you don't pay attention more than us being insignificant.

It's funny, if you don't pay attention to us, how are you in any position to judge how well Rodgers is doing?

Swansea look a much sexier team without Rogers. Are a much more dominant force and won the league cup without him. So there's that. As for Liverpool all I can say is they were underachieving without him and underachieving with him. For me he hasn't taken Liverpool to the next level. With the amount Liverpool have spent over the years you should be in the CL consistently, probably challenging for the title. There's no excuse.

And yes you can bring Moyes' bad start to his United career but at the moment I can only judge him on how he did at Everton, which was brilliantly. And judge him at the end of this season and then next season with regards to United.

Everton look a much sexier force without Moyes? Is Moyes shite? I hate this spending argument. There is a big difference between spending at the top and spending to try and get to the top.

Rodgers has had £20 - 30m per window, it's hardly City-esque money.

feck me. I'm not Rodgers' biggest fan, this is only his second season at 'Pool so how exactly is he suppose to be in the CL "consistently". As for challenging for the title they aren't doing too bad so far.

Nope. But I'll admit Moyes' style of play has, hopefully for reasons out of his control, been quite shite. Sir Alex Ferguson (the best manager in history btw) said that Moyes will play an attractive style when he has a better standard of player. So hopefully when he gets a CM or two of his own in, and Fellaini can play the way he has intended to play him, that will ring true.

I didn't say he was. I said he's overrated. That's my opinion. Will Liverpool reach that next level under him? No.

What is the next level though? Liverpool are already better than at any point under Dalglish, so ultimately he has taken them to a new level.

I feel so dirty for defending Rodgers.

That's ok. I defended Roy Keane the other day when one of you lot said Keane was living off Fergie and was an insignificant player
Some supporters just hate without thinking or using their brain. Like LawCB

I hate the twatty way he celebrates goals with his arms completely still in the air.

I was very impressed when his Swansea side came to Anfield and got a 0-0 draw in his first season in the Premier League. For a lot of the match they played us off the park, & were rewarded with a standing ovation from the Liverpool fans at the end of the match. Has got a better class of player to work with at Liverpool, & owners prepared to back him in the transfer market. Only 18 months at the club, but I reckon we've got a good un on our hands here.

I think he's a gobshite, and I want him to fail because of him rather than because he's Liverpool manager.

You have to admit, however, he's doing a good job though and thats all that really matters.

Why do you think that ? It's not like he tries to intimidate officials, gets his players to intimdate officials, holds grudges, refuses to speak to certain media outlets, points at his watch when his team are winning, points at his watch when his team are losing, slags off opposition teams/players etc, etc.

Comes across as quite a decent, respectful bloke IMO. I'm more than happy to have him represent Liverpool Football Club.

He comes across as one, he's not in any professional position to pull off any of the afore mentioned mind tricks, bullshitting is about the level right now but he could progress to intimidation once he's produced a title winning side or two.

& when he does start with his 'mind tricks' as you call it, perhaps then people might be justified in calling him a gobshite. As it is, one or two on here are just a bit pissed that he's actually doing a good job at Liverpool.

When you take over a side that finished 8th, get them playing the way we do, & have them within sniffing distance of top spot within 18 months, you don't need to bullshit people. Only a true 'gobshite' would think otherwise.

He's doing a great job in all aspects really. He's added some great talent from what he found there. He's got them playing some great attractive football and looking as if top 4 won't be much of an issue unless something goes horribly wrong in the second half of the season.

I said when you appointed him I thought it would be vital to give him time as he'd need to impose his ideas gradually into the club. You were rotting due to the horror shows of Hodgson, Dalglish, Rafa's last season et all.

He's surprised me in one way though: He's much more pragmatic than I thought he would be. He realized his possession game didn't have the cutting edge they needed for taking down the lesser sides at Anfield and adapted. That's impressed me.

Aye he's a bullshitter but not every person is every one's cup of tea. He's doing a fantastic job.

Yea we can settle on bullshitter and when he took over it was probably the first requirement in order to have the players start to get some self belief. He could probably quit it now, they are brimming with confidence and playing well. Pains me to say it but Liverpool are a good watch this season and you have to point to Rodge especially after the dross we saw under Kenny and hodge.

I haven't had the opportunity to watch them that much in recent weeks, but at the start of the season I found them very dull. They often got the lead, shut up the shop and hanged on to the result (which is why I think Brenton should also be applauded, cos he's been very pragmatic in his approach so far). Have they changed their style since Suarez got back?

14 goals in the last 3 games. Champagne football, baby.
