I think he's in serious danger of being sacked. Doesn't look like the players are playing for him.

My only worry is that they will get Klopp or De Boer.

The race is on for Europe.

Liverpool - 58 (GD - 10)
Spurs - 58 (6)
Southampton - 57 (21)

Last four:

Liverpool - QPR (H) Chelsea (A) Palace (H) Stoke (A)
Spurs - City (H) Stoke (A) Hull (H) Everton (A)
Southampton - Sunderland (A) Leicester (A) Villa (H) City (A)

If Arsenal win the FA Cup the side that finishes 7th will get Europa but it's probably going to be an early start to the season.

Also the maximum points he can get now is 70 and he most likely will not be getting that, that means more than 14 points less than last season.

He got 69% possession so he is probably happy just lacked that wee bit of luck.

Unfortunately I think Liverpool might sack Brenton, the players look as though they don't care, Sterling's in poor form and has this contract situation in the background and Sturridge looks to be out until the summer so it could get worse for them. Coutinho has looked decent in the last few months so hopefully he follows Suarez out of the door soon. I expect Chelsea to completely dismantle them at Stamford Bridge.

Hey let's not give Brendan all the credit here.

A special thanks are in order for a certain brain-dead Mr. Balotelli of course who has thoroughly expressed his vast knowledge of the offside trap.

Just don't see Klopp going there. Yeah he might like a challenge but they need a whole new squad. Complete overhaul, they haven't got the power or money to buy a whole new squad in the summer. Klopp/Depay etc are just rumours papering over the fact they are seriously in trouble. Here's to another 25 bad years!

Rodgers- I thought we were outstanding today we showed tremendous character and courage, just a wee bit unlucky to not take all three points

Bet I'm right

To be honest, I'm not sure klopp would be the answer for them, i wouldn't be too worried if he did go there, i don't think he's *that* great a manager. Plays some lovely attacking football at times Though.

Anyway, liverpool would be a step down from dortmund so why go there?

Don't know why Klopp would want to go there. He'd be going to a club in the same situation as Dortmund are in (worse, actually) where he won't be able to attract world class players, pay top wages, or keep any top players he develops. Also, instead of just one club that's significantly better than his club is, there's 4-5.

Would be a terrible career move for a manager who can manage just about anywhere.

I honestly can't see Klopp wanting to go there, the place is a shinking ship basically.

Their best bet would be sticking with Rodgers or getting someone like De Boer.

Dead man walking tbh, I thought it was worth giving him another season but it's evident the players no longer want to play for him

Been saying he's a fraud for ages. Turns out he's a fraud.

Does he even know what his best tactic is, 34 games in?

I mean - most managers have at least figured out what's not working by now. Liverpool didn't strengthen much in the winter, so they don't have the excuse of players adapting. His tactics still look confused. Half the time it seems some players have their positions picked at random. There aren't many players in that team who haven't played wing-back this season. Can has barely played in his natural midfield position. Balotelli alone up front doesn't work, so he tries it again.

Sometimes I think he's just trying to be too clever for his own good. I wonder if he's confusing his own team with his tactics. There's no movement and the level of defensiveness in that midfield would make Rafa proud. You can't play 3-4-3 like that.

Don't agree with this. They have some good building blocks to improve upon I think (Coutinho, Sterling, Can, Skrtel etc).

Will be interesting to see what happens with Rodgers now. I think there will be a review at the end of the season where they will have to make a choice. If Klopp is available and interested then I would sack Rodgers. If there is no one better then I would stick with him, despite an up and down season.
