13 goals conceded from set-pieces this season so far.
Indeed, complete losers' mentality from him and Henderson I thought. Pleased about the game because they "played well".
Good to see Gerrard getting another 90 minutes, you could tell he needed that. Still a bit sluggish but he will surely shake that off with another 90 mins on saturday, at his age you want to be playing every game possible. Will be interesting to see how this young talent turns out.
"More like it. Wonderful character tonight. We really needed a team that was together and we got that. The characterisation of the team was really on show. Great effort tonight from the players. We were outstanding.
We spoke before the game about this being the night to change our season. We showed wonderful resilience, kept our focus in the game and scored two good goals.
I picked players who I know what they're capable of. In time the new players will adapt to how we work but we've set a standard here - and we were very good tonight.
Overall the performance was very, very pleasing."
Rodgers was also pleased with the draw because Ludogrets have great players.

I hope Fellaini is taking notes.13 goals conceded from set-pieces this season so far.
Rodgers:
Just how bad were they tonight?Good Lord.

Ah. I expected them to bottle it against Ludogrets, regardless how shit Ludogrets are. They were ok actually. Was flicking between them and Arsenal so can't be too sure. They were playing fecking Ludogrets though. Goals aside, I only saw the home keeper make one save.
No chance. I watched the whole game, Ludogrets had a bunch of chances that were missed. Gerrard ended up as a striker. They were ok actually. Was flicking between them and Arsenal so can't be too sure. They were playing fecking Ludogrets though. Goals aside, I only saw the home keeper make one save.

That was a joke by Steve...I think. Sad thing is even I have my doubts.

Rodgers:
No it wasn't, mate. Perhaps BR is trying to boost his players' confidence?
Tbf they gave Madrid a very tough game too and Madrid were very lucky to get away with anything. The referee made some decisions that benefitted Madrid greatly(such as a penalty being wrongly given to Madrid and a penalty wrongly not given to Ludogrets) and without them Madrid would not have taken all 3 points. They were Madrid's toughest game in the group stage without a doubt this season. They were ok actually. Was flicking between them and Arsenal so can't be too sure. wtf?Rodgers:
Rodgers:
Ha, it's incredible if genuine. So cringey that I thought it was a piss take.
Christ almighty they're all deluded. The fans, the player, the manager, the media. Jesus.
Liverpool are downright awful, need a serious reinvestment in their squad and better tactics. And yet they act as if tonight was a massive step forward?
Massive investment? You do know how much Brenda has spent in the last couple of years?
Minus 25p after net spend?
Fine, more intelligent spending. They need a decent CB, DM and probably a striker too. That's a lot to invest in January if they want to salvage something from this season.Massive investment? You do know how much Brenda has spent in the last couple of years?
