Was about to say the same thing. Moyes inherited a whole team of champions and the shock last season wasn't going to be easily forgotten and it will always go down in history as unforgiven turning point.
Liverpool on the other hand has been used to situations like this. There is always a next year, a next manager for them to look forward to
I love Brentan, I heard him speak today and say nothing; about them not being good enough but the honesty of the group would see them through? There were other words, but they added no worth or further meaning.
Perhaps a set of figures from PL managers showing number of points after 31 games having won the league in the previous season might actually mean something.

Indeed. If memory serves we were stabilising about this point after a dodgy start, but then started to lose games at the beginning of Dec, then really fell apart as went into the new year.

So Brendan is playing Gerrard in a 2 with Lucas. The position that hasn't worked in the past and is totally fcked up now that he's legs are even older.

I remember we went on a run of 4 wins just before New Year against lower opposition and looked like we were in a decent position, but as soon as we came up against Spurs it all went to shit again and we hit more bad form.
