Is it bad that i've been had a few times by this? Every time i load up the home page my heart skips a beat before i remember.

Not that am in favour of cina being banned (the thread made me laugh) but thats unfair on ixion. Back then threads like these were more common and I don't remember a lot of people being banned for wums/taking the thread off topic.

If you implement stricter moderations, it's to be expected that people would hold the mods to the same if not higher standard.
 
There is conclusive evidence in the OP that Van Gaal is indeed, sacked, it's just a hessian, santa-claus sack.

This is the type of thing that I would get banned for. Other posters might get infracted for. It's not on. Sure we know Cina does a job that he doesn't get paid for but he's still chosen to represent this board and has all the privilidges that brings. Secret forums, meet-ups and free merchandise from the club store. It all adds up, and if it is ok for him to make this thread, others will follow.

I'd accept this from a few idiots but not from Cina, he's supposed to be the best of us and he's let the board down greatly today. My question is mods and admins what happens from this moment? This is an important moment in the boards history, people are linking to other forums and many have talked about leaving (I've had at least a dozen pms now asking me for other forums). If this board is going to continue to be an excellent source of entertainment then something needs to happen. I'm not talking about a full banning, but maybe a couple of months suspension for Cina to clear his head.

You have a very bad timing @Cina. Im trying to figure out what the intention was of your OP. We are in a phase that we have absolutely nothing to laugh about and the click and bait thread title is one of the main reasons the majority of the CAF members absolutely despise lazy journalism. So in fact there is actually a rational reasoning to look upon with scorn and contempt to this whole thread. I for once do not care about hierarchy and you having connections with board members, because i will in the not so distant future sacrifice an enfant and join your elite club. From this day one the standard is set for future threads and you can bank it on Barclays that posters will call out the mods in comparing future bans with this one in terms of deserved or not. I do not call for a ban, but atleast discuss this among yourselves in order to protect the future direction the CAF will go. Surely if another poster with 700 posts would have done the identical thing, he/she would have received a backlash (assumption). Anyway, bad OP, intention for humor failed and i do not shy away of giving my 2 cents about it. Thats all.

The best thing is, all the people moaning are keeping the thread live, thus ensuring more people fall for it as the day progresses.
