Television Breaking Bad

I loved it. Probably too predictable for a lot of people though.

I thought for a second at the end he was going to cook himself up a batch and really go out on a high. (Until I thought of the time it takes to cook a batch, the police being on their way etc.)

Good last episode. Bad last scene.

Credits should've shown Walt talking to Holly at the baby shower in Season 1.

I was the same. I thought he was going to put on the mask, start the cook and die during it.

Thought the exact same.
Honestly, I wish Walt was unable to get to the keys sitting on the table. It would prove, finally, that he can't control everything.

Nazis winning would suck big time, so no thanks!

Actually, there was one small loose end...

Yeah, it was all too predictable. I hate to say it, but I was very disappointed by that finale (and I've been blown away by this last season.) For a show that laboured so hard to avoid giving Walt any moral leeway (especially in the last few seasons,) it blinked at the moment of truth. The scene with the Schwartzs, the last meeting with Skylar, the saving of Pinkman - it was all a bit jarring, given what we'd seen of Walt in the last several seasons.

I'm not sure what they could've done differently, but the heartrate was nowhere near as elevated for this last episode as it had been for the previous 4 or 5. I also wasn't a fan of the closing musical montage - it was a bit 'Sons of Anarchy.'

I don't think it was supposed to be a heartrate elevating finale. That was done and done well in previous episodes. The most important thing for the finale was to provide closure and so it did, perfectly. There was just no need of surprises for the sake of it.

It was alright, people died and others went their own ways. Didn't want to see any major twists or surprises to be honest, they feel out of place in the final moments of a show that's been on for years.

I can see why the key thing might annoy someone, moments supposed to create tension where it's obvious there will only be one winner are pointless, if Walt was gonna wreck them, he should just have done it.

I don't what's wrong with him dying a meth lab though, nor is it something worth branding a preductable ending - especially when most of you bellends in here have been talking about whether Jesse or Skylar or whatnot kills him.

Well, everything we assumed would happen happened, but it was mostly well done.

Things I didn't like:
Scene in the snow covered car. Who the feck is Walt pleading to?
Hi Susan this is Dan blah blah. What? Actually I'm sure I've just missed something there.
Todd isn't an idiot. There's no way he wouldn't realise that Walt hit the ground right before the shooting started.
Final shot was a bit underwhelming. I mean it was fine, but I thought they could do something really memorable.

Things that were great:
The scene at the Schwartzeses. Only part of the episode where I didn't have a clue what was going to happen. Very tense.
Walt appearing at the table scared the shit out of me. I was busy looking at Todd looking at Lydia's cornflower blouse.
Skylar's scene.
Todd's Lydia ringtone.
Massage chair was the best idea ever.
Everyone's acting.

But, the main problem was that in a plan where so many things could (or should) have gone wrong, there was never any doubt that they wouldn't (unless you're Aldo).

You should just go and watch those over budget pop corn movies directed by Michael Bay as you need nothing but scenes where you don't know what's gonna happen next and boom, explosion. Quality, well written drama might not be your cup of tea.
