Brazilian Wonderkido - Endrick

I just wouldn't have expected a 17 year old Brazilian to pay tribute to him. Just shows you how great Sir Bobby was, and how cool this kid is!

He most likely looked it up/read up on it in preparation for the game. Also, with Sir Bobby passing recently, a lot of kids would have heard and read up on him. Realistically though, there aren’t many youths walking around knowing who Sir Bobby was or how good he was

Yeah probably googled england legends and sir Bobby was number 1 but still it's cool our greatest ever player will be forever remembered.

No idea what we’re gonna get. But won’t be judging him too harshly. Took Vini a season or two/three to get going.

To be honest I was very skeptical with Vinicius, so yeah we shouldn't be writing him off, or hyping him up for that matter, so prematurely.

Does he? He looks incredibly strong and muscled to me, especially at 17 years old.

He’s definitely eating his churrasco and batatas

It's hard to conceive a better scenario for a young talent in Brazil.
Not when you’re coached by someone with the mindset of Abel Ferreira. He doesn’t make life easy for young players.

That kid is very well trained. I wouldn't be too moved by that if I were you.

He was the star of a World Cup win and the biggest (player) legend United have ever had so I’m not surprised.

In terms of his look, he looks out of place in this generation.

His baggy ticked in shirt gives him the feel of a 90s footballer, it's like he's time travelled to play football in this generation. If he gets big enough I think we'll see others emulate his look.

He will arrive at Real Madrid with 18 years old, already has played what, 70 professional matches for a top club in Brazil and South America, in this case Palmeiras.

People just need to chill out (not you), I remember what was said regarding Vinicius before he joined Real Madrid and he is what it is today, the kid has all the tools to become a top player for Brazil.

Yeah one game barely involved says nothing. Still many do flop. I remember watching Viniscus in a youth tournament for Brazil when he was first beign hyped. There were two other players hyped too in the same side, a striker called Lincoln and there was a cm midfielder called Alana Guimaraes who looked out of this world like Xavi and Iniesta rolled into one, he was getting linked with Madrid at the same time. Was sure he would become a superstar. Last I heard of him he was on loan at some Portuguese lower league side, you just never know

Scored the only goal to take Palmeiras to the final of the Campeonato Paulista. I know it's been said before but this guy really LOOKS iconic.

His he Madrid bound?

Played 90 minutes for Brazil v Uruguay and made just one successful pass. It was the kick off.

I didn't watch the game but saw this stat and it kinda blew my mind.

I didn't watch it either but surely that can't be true?

From what I hear he got seven shades of shit kicked out of him.

I'm ambivalent about him. Well not really, I think he is a whiny little shit, but I mean in terms of potential.

Maybe it was him wanting to stake a claim, maybe it was Brazil bereft of ideas with Vini out, or both, but he basically was out there trying to do it all by himself. There's positives in that, sure, but the negatives outweigh them in a team sport.

Everyone gave the ball to him and he refused to do anything other than try be prime Maradona on a solo run. Thing is, prime Maradona knew full well when to do that and when to play through Burruchaga, Valdano, Careca or even a midfielder like Alemao. He raised the level of everyone around him, I'm not sure this kid has that in him at all if my first 90 minutes of watching him are anything to go by.

Nah, he got roughed up, as would be expected, but he also asked for it somewhat.

First time he got the ball he was running free and as Valverde approaches Endrick leaves the ball running ahead and goes a couple of yards out of his way to barge into him... and bounced off, fell over and started rolling calling for a foul. It was bizarre.

So there's this kiddo acting Billy Big Bollocks and giving lip amid far more experienced players. Of course he had it coming.

Mind you, Romario also had spunk and was an arrogant little shit too, but not a whiny one. He was far more astute and he responded to aggression just getting on with it and scoring

He will have a great career. People overrated these international tournaments so much.

Lots of players have great careers. He was supposed to be the new R9

There’s a lot of talk of the coaching in Brazil being archaic. Apparently when Vini arrived at Real he was this incredibly raw and brilliant talent, who couldn’t even do the basics properly. But with intensive coaching became the monster he is today. I think Endricknis another talent that you will see as a completely different player in 2 years time. He just needs some proper coaching. The raw ability is there but he hasn’t been taught how to be a team player at all.

Very powerful for his age but tecnichal is raw. For me Estevao Willian has higher potential.
