It would be more than usually bad if we don't win this.

We will make it hard for ourselves. Away from home, huge pressure on us to get a win. Bournemouth will only need to chase and press us and our team will fold. Another scenario is Casemiro will get red card and then we will fold.

Hopefully an easy 0-2 win, but how things are going lately a 2-0 loss or a draw won't surprise me.

I’ve heard Rashford is in the squad, travelled separately, no idea if he starts or bench. Source has to be: trust me bro for now but guess time will tell.

Pretty simple - just get the win no matter how we get it. By all means do anything we can to get the 3 points which is all that matters. Hopefully Rashford is at least fit enough to be on the bench.

    De Gea

    Wan-Bissaka - Lindelof - Varane - Shaw

    Eriksen - Casemiro - B.Fernandes

    Antony - Martial - Garnacho

Butland, Dalot, Maguire, Malacia, Fred, McTominay, Pellistri, Rashford, Sancho

    Bournemouth 0-1 Manchester United

We won convincingly against Wolves and now we need to follow that performance up with the same conviction.

3 points is obviously the main goal here but I feel we need to start actually producing good, all-round performances especially on the lead up to the final.

Edit. The weather down here in the South is perfect for football today. Couldn't have asked for a better day.

My kids are going to the stadium to try and see them come of the coach, nice sunny day, got a good feeling for this one.

Those of us of a certain age know that even when we were relatively shite in the late 70s and 80s to beat United was still the most important win for ‘smaller clubs’. That comes with our history and mystique created by the babes and the holy trinity in the 60s. Beating city? Impressive win nowadays no doubt - but the cache associated with beating United is still intact despite our decade of relative underperformance.
In the 74-75 Second division season there were teams playing absolute blinders against us every week. To get our scalp was something everyone wanted. We were supposed to walk the league at a stroll, but we ended up winning it by three points. God we could do with Macari and Pearson right now!

Confident for this one, players are rested, they know what's at stake and we are due a good away performance.

If we can't beat Bournemouth when it matters, we don't deserve CL. That said, i expect us to beat them 3-1.

They are safe now on 39 points, and probably on holiday now. I expect a comfortable win for us.

I wish, but I suspect absolutely not.... it's their last home game of a successful season for them..the whole town of Bournemouth will be buzzing, and we have to be professional and deal with that. That wretched away form has to improve today..and we can do it, we can.

ETH needs to convey this to them..top four is close, absolutely essential and deserved. Players need to go get it..! Anyhow will do!

    Rashford confirmed out.

With Varane and Casemiro in the team I expect enough defensive solidity, so the challenge will definitely be scoring goals (as usual). Antony, Sancho and Martial need to step it up.

Have to go out and win this one. I fancy Villa to get a result at Anfield. Could mean we're all but guaranteed 4th with 2 games to spare.

Apparently a lot of Bournemouth fans have sold on their tickets to United fans so the atmosphere shouldn’t be a factor

What does garnacho have to do to get a start ahead of sancho?

I know it gets said every time and is annoying but I really do HATE the lineups in number order!!

Best team available. Hope Rashford is back soon.

Sancho is rubbish, why does he keep starting. Happy with the rest of the team. Shame we don't have Rashford even off the bench.

I know Garnacho is best off the bench more times than not but considering the stakes I can't say I agree with not starting him when that front 3 struggles for end product so badly.
