Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

With total club wage bill of £201,789,000 in 2011-12, #MCFC become first English club to break £200m barrier. That's £552,846 a DAY on wages

Can anyone provide our full year club wages as context?

Trying as little as possible to be moany and whingey but that is genuinely absurd.

Lots of shit about the Barry ban:

Clattenburg should not have been an official at the Manchester derby.Looks like we have been stitched up again by the F.A and Manchester United

The near-illiteracy makes this one especially good:

City should make this stooge,s life as miserable as possible when and if he ever referees a city game again, he is a danger to our club, pampering to him would be the worst decision we could make to this guy because he is a legend in his own mind, fergie told him? The guy is so arrogant and a liar he could seriously damage a players career, I knew when Ade got banned watmore (fa) from arsenal was on talkshite as soon as the game finished to say Ade will be banned for this, I have always felt Ade was stitch by watmore gill and crapenberg just to stall our form just in time for the Atkinson added on added on added on time derby. It is all too cosy and easy for my liking all too pally

Clattenburgs career is finished. There's already a doubt cast over him and every team will now treat every dodgy decision with skepticism. There's probably only the rags who would welcome him

Ffs, he was found 100% innocent of the Chelsea claims, and everyone already knew they were utter bollocks. You can't nod along when that's announced but then conveniently forget that and claim that 'there's already a doubt cast over him' as soon as it suits you.

Mancini attacked Clattenberg through the media by saying that players should be allowed to abuse officials after conceding last minute goals. That's the justification the moron used, and the kind of nonsense above is the result.

Horrible deflection of the real issues and a disgraceful attempt to cost a man his livelihood.

This is a classic example of digging yourself a deeper hole. Instead of taking the defeat and moving on, they're allowing us to wallow in the delights of them dragging their club's name through the mud.

This is what meltdowns are all about.

Anyway, in better news, you'll all be glad to learn they've forgotten about the last day of last season...

...when QPR kicked the ball to them, Aguero scored, they all celebrated for ages and Mike Dean blew for full time.

their scummy supporters?! :wenger::wenger:

Yeah, they conveniently forget that the way things had gone after the goal all the calculation on ET go out of the window. If Rio had been hit 30 minutes earlier there would be an argument for finishing the game there and then and them losing the points. With ET complete it made more sense to just finish it pronto and get on with it.

But why let facts, logic and common sense get in the way of a good conspiracy?

Anyone heard Yaha's post game interview? 'it's because... United...er..City are a great club'. Love Freudian slips.

It was glaringly obvious that the Ref blew up about a minute earlier than he should have done because he was worried what would happen if it carried on. It's the same reason Tevez didn't get a red card, because it would have kicked off massively. Anyway, if they're that put out we can agree to replay the final half an hour, with us having the three goal lead we were denied by the officials supposedly biased in our favour.

What is this Phil Jones elbow inident? Did it actually happen or was it only visible to the naked, bitter eye?

I'm pretty sure that someone, somewhere on the pitch would have seen it and there would have been more of a reaction from other City players and fans. This incident seems to only have been seen by one or two keyboard warriors on an Internet forum!!

They might be referring to the incident right at the end where people argued Tevez should have been sent off for a kick out at Jones. We ended up with the throw in and the ref blew the final whistle seconds later. The reason Tevez kicked out was because Jones seemingly used his elbow to get his body in front of Tevez.

No idea, I didn't see anything during the game. I'm fairly sure there's outrage at Rooney being elbowed on there as well...

Oh! Never got to see the whole game as I was otherwise engaged!

Was Jones in the wrong?

It is amazing that the likes of Tevez can get away with a deliberate kick in a high-profile match, yet at the same time, the likes of Barton who retaliated last season gets a lengthy ban. Of course, we cannot really compare the two incidents but, they are both cringeworthy players, and violent conduct i.e. headbutt, punch or kicking out at another player deserves a lengthy ban of some sort.

Unusual to see a player get a kick like that and not crumple into a heap on the floor. Jones just turned around and gave him a look as if to say: ''What the feck are you doing?''

Is Bluemoon the plastics biggest forum? I just noticed that on their matchday thread they only had about 500 odd posts compared to our thread which has almost five times as many. Is there a more popular Shitty forum or is it just they dont have as many supporters? :D

Yeah. An opposition manager pointing out that one of their players kicked out at one of our players! Serious reason to hate someone!

In a game where Mancini bitched at Balotelli for not diving, pointing out that one of your players has been cynically fouled is hardly Dark Lord Frogie material.

I'm not saying it's wrong nor a justification. The point is when someone already rubs you the wrong way -simply because he has broken your dreams time and again- the way he reacts, fingerpoints and demands a reaction from the ref would make you go apeshit.

Not about the club, about the team.
I know, but they're like that about everything, and they've always been; at least the blue I know are (and I know a fair lot).

I'm better, I'm blue -- real ale, true heart, Manc since the war of the roses, 4th generation blue, always -- that's why the superbia is not only funny, but spot on.

Love the wiki on superbia; you'd never get a better description of a blue:

"In almost every list, pride (Latin, superbia), or hubris (Greek), is considered the original and most serious of the seven deadly sins, and the source of the others. It is identified as a desire to be more important or attractive than others, failing to acknowledge the good work of others, and excessive love of self [...]"

They're third in the table of the most picked teams on FIFA online in the world. Didn't you know that?
