Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Still, some mean it look at the bitterness in it, Jesus.

They go on and on about how points don't mean that much because they were 8 points behind in April last year and still went on to win, they fail to realise that it's extremely unlikely Fergie will allow that to happen again.

Our manager is by far the most experienced manager at winning leagues in the world, and although we've lost large leads with him as manager before, we always recover from it.

We lost a big lead to Arsenal in 1998 and went on to lose the league, but the next year we came back stronger and won the Treble. We use big disappointments like losing a big league one year to come back stronger the next year, Fergie will have used the hurt of last season to galvanise the players.

We're the best at recovering from disappointments in the world, and Fergie is the best manager for it. We've got a good lead at Christmas and it's in our power to hold onto it.

I hate the majority of the players
I guess it's the passing of time, worshipping Colin Bell when I was a 10 year old was fine but feeling the same about the lads who 'play' for City would be a bit weird for a 50 year old

But c'mon
Some of these lot a a bunch of wankers who don't really give a damn
That's the difference between players like Lampard and Terry and our sorry bunch
They win something every year but our lot win the F A Cup one year the League the next and think that's it.

We'll it ain't good enough.
I've been watching City when players like Andy Hill have been out on the feild
Total poop but at least giving their all.

Can any player, with the exception of Pablo, really hold their hands up and say they have given their all this season ?

NOPE.
Yaya ? what has happened ?
Silva - since you went away with Spain in November 2010 you never been the same have you ? Tired ? try working for a living
Joe ? it's not always a laugh sunbeam - it's F++king serious to us
Dzeko - are you on sonme kind of protest ?
Tevez ? maybe you should put some weight back on son, you were great when you were fat (and in the country)

Nasri - one good game (you're first at Spurs) then NOTHING. Please F++k off
Today was one of your best games.

Like I say
I LOVE MANCHESTER CITY BUT ...
I hate you unworthy twats

Go home to your 60 inch TV's, in your lovely cars and think to yourselves, do I really deserve this ?
Did I earn this or am I stealing a living

42 years of highs and lows but now really sick of you shameless bastards

NDJ - come back, you'd be twice the player most of these shites are, even with one leg in plaster.

Melting down

I see where he's coming from to be honest, a lot of their players to me look like they'd rather be elsewhere which is most probably true bar Milner, Barry etc.

Yeah but it's not like we have a team anywhere near the level of that one now.

Was reading through BM and they really don't seem anywhere as deluded as the bunch of idiots on RAWK.

BlueMoon is quite often considerably worse, there is an awful lot of wishing injury on players, and more, you must have caught them on an uncharacteristically good day.

We might not be QUITE as good, but we're still a pretty damn decent side who have won the league 4 times in the last 6 years - only losing out by 1 point and goal difference the other 2 years.

Most of the time when we lose the league we win it again the next season - in fact, I think we only didn't do that once (in 2004).

That's actually a refreshing read from the usual dribble that comes out of them. The majority of City players epitomise why so many people have become so disillusioned with football, myself included.

drove past the other night, big blue letters lit up saying

ETIHAD STADIUM

very nice but not a mention of manchester city, i know during the day there is some rather weak white unlit writing saying our name but you can't see it.

it should read

ETIHAD STADIUM

HOME OF MANCHESTER CITY F.C.

Not wanting to be rude but we are the brand, the history and the crux of the whole project.

The project? Oh FFS even the bitters have bought into that shit. You'd swear hes a business man "the brand".

EDIT: The colours were added in the OP not my me.

On Dzecko:

To be honest, that is a lot less laughable than the comments in the RVP thread today about how he can challenge Messi for WPOTY and how he's apparently as good as Ronaldo.

I don't see how saying he can challenge for WPOTY is laughable. RVP is a quality player - if he keeps scoring, then he'd be definitely challenging Messi. No doubt about it. That's not to say that RVP is a better player than Messi though.

To be honest, it's laughable. Messi will go down as arguably the best player of all time. Meanwhile RVP is just one of the best strikers in the world today. Unless by 'challenging' you just mean he's nominated, because unless Messi (and Ronaldo) drop off in form by quite a bit it's not going to be a real challenge.

RVP isn't really doing anything now that he wasn't doing for Arsenal in his last 12 months there. Imagine what our response would have been if Arsenal fans tried claiming then that he was as good as Messi or Ronaldo.

RVP is a brilliant player, no doubt. Well on his way to winning his second Premier League Player of the Season. But he's being significantly over-rated on here.

He will not challenge Messi. RVP's on the level of the likes of Falcao and Ibrahimovic at the moment; not Messi. Messi's producing form that's causing him to be talked about as the greatest of all-time. It's become silly to compare Ronaldo to Messi to an extent, but to do it with RVP is ridiculous.

I find the bias even more funny. RVP's performances this season have been very similar to last season. I wouldn't say he's been much better this season than he was then, but because he played for a different club last year people here generally said Rooney was better. A year later, and he's not much better but people are comparing him to Messi and Ronaldo. If this had happened last year then people would've been hounded for it. It's really fecking laughable.

^^^ On the money.

What's laughable is people who think RVP is merely one of the best strikers in the world.

^^^ On the money.

Yup. Everyone's a bit caught up in it at the moment. He's nowhere near Messi, and neither is he suddenly much better than Rooney. He's just a brilliant striker in great form. Arguments should be about RVP vs Falcao or Ibrahimovic, not vs Ronaldo or Messi.

The only other striker who's even arguable is Falcao, and Van Persie does it more consistently and at a higher level. For the last two years he's been the best striker in the world, bar none.

edit: It's worth remembering that the comparison with Ronaldo is based on how good Ronny was for us at his best, which isn't the most absurd comparison ever.

Ah feck :(

I had no idea the Hoff was a City fan. That depresses me :(

why on earth would Hasselhoff support City?!

Just plain odd.

No no, don't tell me, he lives in Manchester and has supported them for 40years right?
