Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

We benefit so much from the FA's "meddling" they helped assist us to 7th, 4th and 5th place finishes in the last 3 years, with City - the whipping boy of all referees - finishing above us every time. Thanks, referees.

Just another thing referees are bad at. Can't even fix the league properly.

This guy talks sense:

True or not, the guy's a football manager, not a god and not a Blue. He's paid £15m (or whatever) to be here. He will pursue his own career objectives for whatever time suits him. He wasn't left in a cradle in Greggs' doorway, wasn't born to a virgin mother in M11 and doesn't eat barms. City barely registered on his scale before he came.

No point in getting too tied up emotionally.

He'll be joining us soon. That talking sense will see him banned. We get all the scallywags from other forums. How dare any of them voice their opinions on a fan forum.

All these British dinosaurs giving it to Pep and his football philosophy - just remember which countries have won the last 2 World Cups and where Pep was managing during those years and answer a question of they felt Pep had anything to do with the wins.

That's great news. My grandad was managing a local team in 66 so had a hand in England's world cup win.

Little trawl of their thread on the 'Villarreal of England' thing. To be fair a lot of sensible 'sounds about right, so what?' responses. But also some predictable variations on the theme of 'feck Pep' and 'feck the illuminati media':

This will be the end of Pep in England if he doesn't distance himself from it.

Disrespectful baldy poncey ****.

The media are scum......they are one of the biggest single problems in western society today and their views firstly need to be ignored and then challenged head on as Pep has started to do...he is showing them up with not only his football knowledge but his general level of intellect and manners....notice he always makes a point of saying good morning/afternoon at the start of every interview/press conference as not one of them even have the politeness to do this.

What I can't stand is he appears to believe he's doing us a favour by gracing us with his presence! [...] We've stagnated at best or is more likely regressed since 2012 and if he sees next Xmas here I'll be surprised.

they are going all out for the club and Pep now , spineless wankers at the club who are in charge of PR and media should f*cking do something about this now , why the feck are MCFC accepting the club , manager , players supporters being derided at every opportunity , soft c*nts.

What a surprise this comes out today. So obviously an orchestrated campaign by the media.

How feck someone can even think that this club is Villiareal of PL, such a shame from manager. How he can achieve things if he thinks like that, what kind of attitude is that.

SHAME ON YOU PEP!!!!!!!!!

PS BRING MANCINI AND GARRY COOK BACK, who actually believed that city was the best in the premier league and played best football.

It is more hilarious that they are claiming that this is something orchestrated from media here, while in fact the journo in question is a friend of Pep, is from Spain, and has coauthored a book with Pep.

Excerpt from Pep interview ~

PEP: "Good morning. You're all c*nts and I hate you. Good night."

I'd argue that's being a bit harsh on Villareal.

I'm not really sure if this is from Bluemoon as a City fan on my Facebook posted it, but it would fit right in over there.
Since he brought up Sir Alex, did it take the FA 6 years to workout that Fergie is god, United must dominate, Liverpool must be knocked off their perch and City must remain as a second-tier (pep words ;)).

City fans are such utter small time bell ends. At the beginning of the season, when City were winning, the media had already given the league to Pep. His 3 at the back, buying Stones, blah blah, was pure genius. Even on here we had caftards coming in their pants at the mere mention of Pep, because Jose was struggling. Massive love in. They go through a few dodgy games and it is back to conspiracy against poor little City. It must be to do with the fact they have oil money or everyone hates Pep and City. They need to realise nobody gives a feck about City, live with it.

All the top teams, bar Liverpool, have had a bad patch, and in bad patches mistakes get exaggerated. We get lucky against WHU for the sending off and offside goal, but unlucky in the same match with Kouyate, and Zlatans good goal against Middlesbrough. Then again, you see the Bournemoth sending off against Arsenal and you think maybe the red at WHU was right.

City, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea have had no more go for them than against them all season. It happens. Refs coming from certain parts of the country is also a mythe, created by people looking for an excuse. Look at the rubbish said before the Liverpool vs. United game.

Had a look there to see their reaction on Fegouli's red card being rescinded. Already got a thread. Replays, points deductions for United blah..blah.. Their faux outrage on West Ham being robbed is hilarious. What a waste of lifetime, those plonkers are ?

I'm just glad they've proved money is not the answer to everything and gimps like Gallagher with their predictions of domination once Ferguson had gone have been made to look like prats.

They've completely forgotten about the City v United game earlier this season when Bravo should've been sent off. Jokers! It would be soo ironic if their hallowed one had the meltdown that they predicted would befall Mourinho.

We needed Feghouli to be able to face City, so told the FA to rescind it.
Well Frogie sorted it.

The funniest scenario now would be if Feghouli dives in the box to win a penalty and get one of their players sent off and West Ham beat City 1-0. And Mike Dean is the ref.

We weren't playing a back 3. We haven't won a single game this season where we used one. For a man who doesn't give a feck about City thats a somewhat passionate post.

I think it rather shows that he indeed doesn't give a feck about City even enough to watch them play. And I don't think the post showed any passion about City, if anything it was a very calm rebuttal of the constant conspiracy nonsense the City fans spew out.

So August and September didn't happen then, my bad, or were you just one of those blue seats posing as a fan. The dig is at the fans, they seem to think that there is this big thing about City, which is obviously total BS.

How can a calm rebuttal start with "utter small time bellends" and pidgeon hole thousands of people into the same mindset. It would be like me saying all United supporters are obnoxious arrogant glory hunters. We both know that's not true and its just 99% of you. Joking aside, really though most United supporters are good guys but if someone or alot of people mean enough for you to call them names than I'd say you have emotional attachment to the subject and therefor they do give a feck.

We played 4141, 4231 and 433 early in the season. While I'm not a big fan of sky, I've watched every game this season and this is correct.

Let's not judge Man City / Pep by this comment... i remember a certain David Moyes saying WE had to aspire to be like Man City! That got enough of us pi$$ed off!

Although we had a right to be annoyed.. city are just a bottom feeder that have been pushed slightly up the table by the mounds of pennies lying on the floor. Them pennies will go one day, and they will fall further down. All we need is the (milk)sheiks to get bored!

There is absolutely no indication that they will plan to leave soon. Them leaving looks more wishful thinking from your part, than anything else.

Same with the "when Abramovich gets bored thing". don't know where it comes from. They have invested 1 billion into City
Well its the solution to everything for every new rich russian or arabian.. Throw money at it..

I think we said the same thing about Chavski.

City's owners are far richer than Abramovich though and City is more than a hobby for them.
Yep, City is a key part in their global Arabian PR campaign. Not sure how owning a PL football team should go anywhere near offsetting future drops in oil revenues or distract from cutting off peoples hands for stealing, but anyway...

"I think we've played a very good side and it's the sort of standard and level we need to try and aspire to get ourselves to at this moment in time."

"I think we need to play better. We're needing to come up a couple of levels at the moment and we're not quite there."

That is what Moyes actually said. He didn't say we should aspire to be like City, he just said we needed to play at a level they were playing at after we'd just lost 3-0 to them. There really wasn't anything wrong with what he said. There are plenty of reasons to dislike Moyes and his time as a United manager but people need to stop misquoting him on this.

City's owners are very unlikely to just get bored and run off, even if they did they have put a lot of work into the structure of the club so it's very unlikely that the club just disappear.
