Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Their United thread for 2016/17 has opened. Some interesting discussion going on actually.
day tripping , glory hunting , attention seeking , hasbeen , bandwagon jumping , armchair , remote control wielding , school poisoning , half n half scarf wearing , sister in law shagging , granny shagging , ticket touting , raggy , bar stewards. Apologies if i missed something.

The one's in bold apply to City too, even the shagging ones might apply to them. Then there's school poisoning, I have no idea what that's about.

Blues always have great memories about allegations from 35 years ago.
But they conveniently ignore the corruption convictions of their last owner less than 10 years ago.

No. Those old enough and open-minded enough will acknowledge that Thaksin was and is a piece of crap.
We get a distorted view on football forums of the levels of awareness of football fans.
Most on here and many on BM are pretty well educated, erudite and rational but both City and United have plenty more who just worship their team and don't care too much about the off field activities of the money men.
There is a separate debate to be had on this but I think that the BM knocking thread is probably not the best place?

Piece of crap is going very easy on Thaksin. Fans call the managers and players of their own clubs worse than that a lot of times.
Apparently their United thread is ok to bring up Edwards. If you disagree with discussions of past owners, let them know.

Never mind the last owner, the current feckers make anything any owner of any other club in England have had look like the behaviour of mother theresa. I give you this week's example of a raped woman being deported and fined for having sex outside of marriage. No supporter gets to choose which rich sod buys their club, but when you have complete arsewipes like that owning yours, its probably a good idea to shut up about other clubs owners.

fecking hell thats disgraceful, some places in the world really are backward. And to think they are holding a World Cup in one of them.

No. They are perfectly entities to say what they want about who they want within the law. It's an internet forum not a holier than thou contest.
At one time City had slightly less scummy owners than United, now they are funded by a man who is related to the Royal Family of a Muslim Emirate that uses the laws of their religion to govern that state. Sheikh Mansour himself has never broken any law domestic or international.
When Magnier and McManus wanted to sell their controlling interest in United I doubt that many Reds would have been too outraged to have had the Dubai Maktoums as new owners but now that you have a family of people from a country of torturers, racists and warmongers. They subscribe to a religion that has killed thousands of people following their Zionist ideals and the Glazers themselves are a bunch of parasitic tax dodgers.
They have accepted major sponsorships from Russia and Turkey.
I will be called an apologist by apologists and can live with that.

Yeah i suppose you are right there mate.

Says more than anything about Fifa's own corruption, that they are allowing the WC to be hosted by two countries with dictatorships.
We can agree on that one Steve.

Watch this space when Sterling is benched for the next match, and Rashford gets subbed on before him. It will no doubt be a ragspiracy and all due to David Gill's pull with the FA.

Sterling deserves to be benched at the moment as his undoubted talent is compromised by a complete loss of confidence. He'll be back firing in a few months time. Rashford is not the one to start over him, though.

Yeah I dont think Rashford should start either. But he should be subbed on before Sterling is subbed on.

I don't see all that talent with Sterling tbh, and this is not a "oh, he is a City player, I can't like him" thing, but I genuinely think he is underwhelming. His composure is lacking, his topspeed is lacking (acceleration is great though), and his footballing intelligence really isn't there.

If anything I think he has regressed the last two seasons.

I don't want to derail this thread again while you're all picking out BM's finest posts but that happened in Qatar and City's owner is from Abu Dhabi. I'm not saying that Abu Dhabi's laws are totally different to Qatar's on this kind of thing (and I'm certainly not indulging in a case of whataboutery as I was accused of last week) - they'll be broadly similar - but as GJ says the laws in a lot of Muslim countries closely follows the religion. You hear of tourists getting into bits of bother in Dubai for innocuous stuff like kissing in public but millions of westerners still holiday there every year.

The tournament only lasts for three more weeks so what is the point in Sterling playing then? Kane has been anonymous, which is one thing, but Sterling has been dreadful. His early effort will probably be miss of the tournament.

Even as a City fan, I'm inclined to agree but I'll post my thoughts in the Sterling thread - I defended his performance on Saturday to a point on here but no issues with him being subbed off today.

He has enough raw talent to be all alone in the box to miss that chance. Composure is coachable, particularly in young players and Pep will do it, I have no doubt.

Me too.

Pep isn't at the Euros though. I actually agree that the talent is there but his confidence is shot. You can see that he is afraid to try to go past his man and there was a high ball that he let bounce, if he tried to control it first time he would have been in a good attacking position. Rashford is a better wildcard off the bench at the moment for England IMO.

On Hart:

Hart makes some mistakes but he always gets up and gets on with it and doesn't let them bring him down. He's the England and MCFC keeper so mistakes get a lot of attention but his blunder count is not bad. His distrubtion and work with the ball at his feet today was excellent.

He is a strong character, am sure he will bounce back

It’s good that he always gets up and bounces back. Until he makes another mistake again.

Excellent with the ball at his feet? He just smashed it every time it came to him. His worst aspect.

You're a Rag if you,

1. Say Sterling has been shocking and needs to be dropped
Somebody who doesn't; have fecking homer glasses on. He was good for 20 mins tops against Russia but has been shocking after that. Him and Kane don't deserve to start again this euros

Got mine from spec savers and seen enough football through them than you will ever but you know I would rather be a rag than be so bitter as you, unless you are.

2. Don't believe he's all the attributes to succeed and he'll not get at least 15 goals and 15 assists next season
Regarding Sterling, baring injuries I can see him hitting at least 15 goals and 15 assists in all competitions baring injuries of course.

Sterling has all the attributes to succeed and playing in a system that suits him along with one on one training with the best coach in the world can only make him better and he will undoubtedly improve on the 11 goals and 10 assists he had this season.

Anyone saying otherwise is either a rag, undercover rag, or just plain delusional and obsessed with the price we paid.

Ragoganda against Sterling and Massive City!
All i can say is there was a clear agenda to target Sterling for his poor performance, while ignoring any other players faults.
The media did a real assassination job on this lad. They should hang their heads in shame.
The media love anything against City.
English media make me sick, they've done absolutely everything in their power to destroy the image of Raheem Sterling and everybody is lapping it up, including some City fans.

What's the point of playing next season, give them quadruple already!
The anti-city vitriol on social media is something to behold, i really hope we do the quadruple next season!

Proper English fan there,
Always want England to win in everything they compete in bar football.
Cant get behind ****s like Shrek etc.
This is what you should be doing Sterling,
He should play like Sturridge for yourself and be greedy shoot at every opportunity and not the game plan Hodgson sets out!

And here is the comment of the day,
If he has missed a sitter, as well as slaughtering him, shouldn't it also be pointed out that at least he was there, and maybe England should look to getting him into those areas more?
Shame on you Ragundits! And also shame on you Roy and the entire England squad that you didn't let our poor Sterling miss a few more two-yard sitters.

Tbf he was a massive scapegoat in the previous game, hard for a young lad to cope with being the randomly chosen England whipping boy. Especially when Lallana is on the pitch.

Well, we've had our fair share too - Becks, Rooney, P. Neville...

Some Bilbao fans signed up to bluemoon to sort of hit back for BM saying they're an average club. Hilarious reading.
