Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Who said we wanted him???
Coward
Must admit, that was my first thought
poor poor mentality from the player
sucks for the player though...0 ambition
Fook off now you Basque CONT!
I honestly couldn't give a flying one. He has been nothing, done nothing and not even had a cap for France yet. Its his loss and not ours, move on to the next target.
My thoughts are he had agreed to come and bottled it at the 11th hour shit bag, enjoy a trophyless career!
He can feck off and enjoy 8th place in La Liga year on year.
That smug smile Laporte has got on his face while signing his new contract.. Only had his eyes on the new contract it seems..

I Swear this is a ploy to just make us pay more, if Pep wants him he will get him

How about we have taken a look at his medical results/scenario from his injury and walked away at the price given and moved on to other targets hence his sudden loyalty?

Surely city knew his intentions? We would normally let it out we "cooled" our interest as not to be snubbed etc

Just be stuck with spending an utter fortune for overrated shite like Stones then.

Maybe he found the thought of playing in an empty stadium quite daunting , something he hasn't experienced in his career so far

It's crazy how these new breed of City fans talk like they're entitled to any player. Had one on that forum spouting crap a while back about how Pep could attract Messi. Funny enough the only thing he's attracted so far is a player with busted knees.

I quite admire his loyalty, Bilbao is his boyhood club and he's basque, he's living the dream like Rashford is for us, understandable in the end why he chose not to move. Whether it was a good career move though remains to be seen. Nice to see City not being able to attract the caliber of player we feared they might even with CL football.

Hasn't the ITK god there got a lot of shouts wrong now? Sounds like he's just reading the gossip column then saying the players backed out when he's wrong.

Brilliant. I hope they play their season with their current lot of CBs, it will be hilarious.

Let's not get too carried away. Pretty sure Fabian Delph made a U-turn after he just signed a new contract with Villa last season too.

I think it's always nice when good players choose to stay at relatively smaller clubs (unless it's us they're turning down, then they can feck right off).

And I think this charge of "lack of ambition" is rather silly. What's more ambitious than staying at a club like Bilbao in order to try and help them achieve success?

Yeah, he said Pogba to City was a done deal every season for the last 3 I think. He also had no idea about the Delph transfer last season if I remember correctly too.

Game of Thrones, The Graham Norton Show, Bluemoon....all quality entertainment that I regularly enjoy each week.

Big shout out to my boy minimanc, who's loving the work on here! :D

Tolmie's Hairdoo is one. He is NOT itk. Absolutely not.

Ric is the other, i think, he is the one who bangs on about "paperword done lads, first City TV interview done, signing is sealed. Relax"
Player then rejects and he spouts shit like "club caught unaware by this. last minute change of heart, it was all done" Without realising that, ok , the deal was DONE, but he then changed his mind? So it wasnt done then was it, clown

Well then City now have to pay about £25m more than originally thought. They wont. I'd be majorly surprised

How dare he.....
Total lack of class on his part if he didn't even have the decency to inform the club of his decision, and he will regret it.
The kid is willingly turning down football at the highest level, trophies, success, Pep Guardiola and double the money to stick around at Bilbao.
Of course, he's missing out on Pep and playing for us, so it's a disastrous mistake.
The kid has shown a serious lack of ambition and has been badly advised and will regret his decision long term, loyalty may be an admirable trait but give me medals and silverware all day long.

Or perhaps they didn't want him anyway,
he might have wondered how he'd get in the team.
Possibly also a bullet dodged, has he recovered from his broken leg and also he only promised potential, hasn't delivered yet.
The lad may of failed a medical and city may have pulled the plug on it due to its results giving the lad no choice as to sign a new deal.
Maybe we've seen sense at last, and just wern't prepared to pay a kings ransom for someone with a dodgy knee
If Pep can give Mangala a brain, we don't need him.
That's an enormous IF, granted.

New hope,
Bonnuci it is then
F**k this guy...Get Bonucci
as one door closes, another opens. That Bonucci looks OK.

Ouch....
Worrying that we can't attract a player from some no mark Spanish outfit like Bilbao even with Pep at the helm.
I'm gobsmacked this kid hasn't joined... Maybe the pep and city lure isn't as big as we thought.
feckin hell, snubbed by an injured £40m 22 year old. Maybe one of the big Spanish clubs have told him to stay put for a year? Whatever, feck him.

Those posts are poetry, the years of being overlooked and forgotten about coming to a head in one tragic crescendo. Beautiful.

He didn't hear the commentators say it this time because they're all watching the match with the tv muted to keep their minds free of Ragoganda.
Ragoganda. I like this term.

You see the difference. We blame our club/manager for fecking things up and they blame it on the player. It's hilarious to think he *needs* to move anywhere

Not to mention he's only 21 and has time on his side, could see him back on the market this time next year. Bilbao is a special case as well, they're different. They're big on promoting academy players, and only sign/play players from the Basque country; and I'm sure it really feels like a family there. Don't blame him if he feels he's happy and wants to stay a little longer.

In other news, Nolito was recently linked to them, any reaction from Bluemoon on that? (He was rubbish against the Czech Republic yesterday).

Two scenarios
Either city were offering less and he signed a deal to ensure athletic get a good deal. Remember if it is a hostile buy out from his contract then city will bave to pay clause +VAT

Or he really dint want to leave this year, and might have a deal with athletic about leaving.

Reminds me of Garry Cook saying Milan "bottled it" over the Kaka deal

Thats was hilarious.

All reports indicate it was a complete botch job on Citys part, but that wouldnt play well with the faithful.

That Tolmie ITK guy who has been getting all their knickers wet by claiming every other day it was a done deal:

And not a flying feck was given that day.

Don't know enough about him, plenty saying he is the real deal.

Always seemed overkill to me wanting him AND Stones.

At least Stones is homegrown and used to the Premier League.

Fair play to Laporte if he wants to remain loyal, regardless of a pay rise.

As far as I'm concerned, it's £40m we can spend elsewhere, hopefully on a proper left back!!

So now,

Anyone who doesn't want Sheikh to spend big on new players = Rag

too!

not a rag smart ass

Hmmmm, but
skeptical-house-is-skeptical

as to whether you are blue.
You don't seem to want City to spend any money and everything is about saving 'face' with others.
