Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

One of the main reasons I stayed at the end was to show my appreciation for Zabba who is likely to be going. Shame that he and the club captain couldn't be arsed turning up.

Doesn't take long for the attitude of clubs like Chelsea and City to their managers to seep into their fanbases.

Regardless of who it is, I'd like to think if a manager wins your club a major title and it's his last home game at the club, he'd get a good send off.

Pep can expect exactly the same treatment there.

Err what? The only manager we've turned on was FSW and I shouldn't have to explain that here. :wenger:

Avram Grant sends his regards

What about him? We weren't happy (understatement) about Jose getting sacked so there was a lot of protest banners and the like, but that was pro-Jose rather than anti-Grant. There were supposed to be a few knobheads who had said stuff, but none of the fans I know have any actual dislike for the guy, he did a really good job under really hard circumstances. CL final and didn't lose a home game.

Just shows that charm doesn't always work. Dreadful to watch and City fans should be ashamed, unless there's a consensus among them he's wilfully done Guardiola's legs. Really surprised Pellegrini wants to stay in England. Maybe in Spanish speaking cultures he has the opposite reputation, of a callous vampire.

I think Pellegrini has been overrated by many (any manager that loses games in the fashion he did with Real Madrid is lacking in management skills in my opinion), but the way City's director's managed the whole Pellegrini/Guardiola transfer was awful. Both Bayern and City were caught in a limbo stage.

He won them a league title, 2 Carlings and took them to a CL semi, so all in all about equal or better than Mancini did.

That send off was pathetic. A bunch of inbreeds.

Genuinely did not think City fans were that petty..perhaps it was not announced at the stadium they were doing anything after?

I joined their site a while back. Made a comment which wasn't particularly contentious and got banned! They really are a bitter lot! Their end of season lap of honour and Pellers farewell in an empty stadium???:lol::lol:

What username did you get? Perhaps you should have used the same tactic City fans have here and got an username like PoliteRag or GentlemanRag

Can't remember now. it was a while ago and I only made two posts. I wasn't even trying to be controversial or stirring it. I guessed I would have to tread lightly on there so kept my comments very simple though it was a different view. Got banned straight away, wtf!! Lasted about 30 minutes!

It really is the worst forum out there. I wonder whether any of the City fans on here are some of those ignorant, narrow minded idiots on that joke of a forum??

There doesn't seem to be any constructive debating on there, everything just ends up being abusive, personal attacks and contempt for just about everything. It really is a marvel to behold. I sometimes feel sorry for the poor feckers!

Bluemoon is the most arrogant forum, and biased, I have ever come across. It is fecking cringeworthy and unbearable to read sometimes. I refuse to believe half the stuff the users post, is actually an honest opinion. It must be trolling to some extent, it is that ridiculous

Shocked at the empty stadium to be honest, why the feck did they all leave? Ungrateful twats.

Pep takes charge this summer, he's going to drill the cr#p out of this squad, clear out the old and bring in the new. He'll change our formation, our tempo, our attitude to playing and winning. Whatever competition, league, Champions league, Europa league, who cares, we'll see a better side and we''ll be 1000 % hungrier. We've been far lower in our history blues than today and we've a lot to look forward to next season. Thank you Manuel and Good luck! The manager that Pep is, i'm expecting him to go for every trophy there is. He doesn't have it in him not to!!

you think any manager can stop Sterling running and tackling like a girl?

I am not sure why such a big deal is being made of the fact that the fans left early yesterday. Pellegrini has massively underachieved in the last two seasons and it's hard to expect the fans to have much affection for the manager after the way they have faded away this season. They are in real danger of finishing 5th in the league below a United team managed by Lvg who most United fans think is a joke .

Henry was going on about the same thing on Sky, saying it would never have happened in the days of Maine Road, Nial Quinn said they all stayed applaud when they were relegated etc, the point they both seemed to miss is that the majority of going (and non going) fans were not fans in those days.

A certain sort of 'fan' will follow these oil rich clubs, and with it will come what happened yesterday.

To be fair to them, are we absolutely certain that people left and that wasn't just the normal amount of empty seats for them?

Wonder how many will stay after the Bournemouth game If we have missed out on top four.

Last season they lost the league to Chelsea and went out in CL early. Why not sacked him in the summer? They announced Pep signing/ official sacking Pelegrini mid season while City still had every chance for the league. Then he won them the League Cup and got them to CL semi final (furthest round in their history). Whacky way to handle thing.

When did Van Gaal win us the title?

Although actually you do have a point. Utd's fanbase is spoiled, after years and years of success we do have a sense of entitlement. Same with the other big clubs really.

What's remarkable about City is that they seem to have just accelrated to this huge sense of entitlement in record time. They've gone from applauding off shite teams that regularly got relegated to walking out on a manager that won them the title 2 years ago.

It's modern football at it's worst.

The traffic must have been really heavy if so many City supporters were only able to turn up after the match had ended.

...they are usually dressed up as empty seats, aren't they?

"I wish that these cnuts weren't here",
He said to the genie,
"And *poof* I've made them disappear",
Manuel Pellegrini.

Looks no different than in the middle of a match.

Your general point is correct but...

Do you know any City fans personally? I do, some of my good mates in fact. Great lads but when it comes to football you'll struggle to find a more a hypocritical, high and mighty, 'our club is/our fans are holier-than-thou' bunch of supporters anywhere(they think the same about us reds of course). City fans however can be particularly sensitive. Never more so than when it comes to United. They passionately hate us, more than any other set of fans in football and that is saying something. It's rivalry. So when they embarrass themselves as a collective, our natural instinct is to point it out, laugh and mock them. Heaven knows we've been on the receiving more often than not over the last 4-5 years, after decades of lording it over them it was only fair but that's football.

This instance is particularly funny though, as it signals they are as bad if not worse than United fans when it comes to a sense of entitlement in their team. MP is the second most successful manager in their entire 100 year plus history, yet a few bad results and and this is their reaction. They have forgotten very quickly and have become everything they claimed to hate.
