Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Don't know weather i want youse or City to win next week, they're in abysmal form but you have the harder fixtures. Still, I'd rather City missed out on the top 4, it's much more fun when United and Liverpool are doing well. Them missing out on the top 4 could be the catalyst for Toure,Aguero and Silva to leave and I don't see them attracting that caliber of player again.

Bless em' they're like a little brother that's had to spend their whole life watching us do grown up things before them. Puberty has finally hit them like a ton of bricks, and they're on the pull with a face full of acne and their first paycheck. They'll grow out of it eventually but they're in the difficult teenage years now, lots of slammed doors , music turned up loud and shouting "I HATE YOU UEFA"

They grow up so fast these days:D

If we win I think the fixtures will be irrelevant (bar Chelsea) because the momentum it builds could carry us through the season. Plus a United and Liverpool win would make you closer to the top four than a City win, their fixtures are no cakewalk either (Swansea away and Southampton at home as their final two games). I agree with them missing out on top 4 will have big repercussions, at least one of their "holy trinity" of Aguero, Silva and Toure will leave.

"You're not even my real dad! I'm going to stay with him in Abu Dhabi, we'll have our own Champions League!"

I hope you're right. I said on a previous thread that I have a begrudging respect for Liverpool. They've contributed to English football. City are basically where they are because phenomenally rich people made them their pet project. I'd prefer Liverpool to make the top 4 than City. I think Liverpool just matters more than City. Like most here have said, the story of last year was Liverpools success (compared to their previous years) and Uniteds failure.

I even prefer RAWK to Bluemoon. Rawk is like a bunch of over, optimistic failed writers while City is like a bunch of 16 year olds trying to fill every sentence with curses to look tough.

On the other hand, my Dad is a Liverpool fan and it's hilarious when he's angry.

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola is City's top target to replace Pellegrini, 61, should the Chilean exit his job with the Premier League champions.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

What a deluded joke club that is!

How come you're not one?:)

I have a similar situation.
I love United, he likes Liverpool and hates United.
He's a big Hajduk Split fan, I'm a Dinamo fan (biggest Croatian derby and rivalry)

As for Bluemoon, they're funny, they think we're obsessed with them and our game vs them is a cup final when the truth is Liverpool game is our biggest game and they're still just our lousy neighbors trying to be tuff. Basically they're still a small club, just lucky enough to be loaded with money if you ask me.

City fan working beside me just told me that they're going to win 7-1 at the 'swamp'. I said that that if City do win it'll be close and he couldn't even accept that. I really hope the players are underestimating us as much as the fans are.

Kompany said something like its perfect time to play United.

They're going to get back on track on Sunday and some other stuff.

He sure likes to talk.

That swamp thing amuses me.

At least its our swamp and its full every game. :D

Me too. It must be some kind of defence mechanism they use to get away from the reality of their own stadium and it's embarrassing attendance rate.

'Our cup final'? Pfft. In contrast, Liverpool could be in the Scottish Championship, and I'd still consider playing them to be more important & exciting than playing City. Besides, I don't even consider City to be the same club as they once were, nor do I take their titles seriously.

Not trying to stab at them but no one actually does, last year when they won it people were more concerned about Liverpool's title charge and our horrendous season.

Even Ashley Cole's international retirement made bigger news than their title win.

this is our shrek's swamp and better stay away or he'll fart right in your face

Well remember, they only have to win the possession / have more shots on target / lose by a single goal to win the moral cup. (Unless of course, he manages to get deservedly sent-off at any point during the game for doing something utterly stupid - then they automatically win it)

Kompany is literally forever talking bullshit about what City are and are not going to do.

Usually before crashing out of europe or being done over by a minnow.

Well yeah, that's what happens in sport and the media. People tend to focus on what is unexpected. You know, no one cared that Juventus won the Italian league last season. Or that Bayern will win the Bundesliga this year. Likewise, when United won it so comfortably in 12/13, people cared more about the story of Wigan winning the FA Cup.

Kompany talking before the matches has the same effect as 'Vato/Balu now is our enemy' threads.

I love how Kompany says that it's the right time to play us, when it's possibly the worst possible time to play us seeing as we're playing our best football in years and scoring for fun. What exactly is his logic?

Is it outside the realms of possibility that Guardiola could go to City?
It's possible only if Txixi and Sorriano are still there. If given a choice of United or City i think he'd probably pick United.

His quadruple talk was hilarious, but I don't see an issue with what Kompany has said this time around. It's typical Captain chatter. Trying to make us worry about facing a "wounded animal" or whatever. He'll be wanting his team to bounce back.

He's not going to say "We're shitting it about Sunday. United are mint, and our defence is made of biscuits."

See that sounds sensible, I suspect you're right.

Seems to view the possibility as a lot less likely. I don't think it's a laughing matter, we're not in the market for a new manager this summer, strikes me as possible he could end up there. Not likely maybe, but possible. And it's a frightening possibility.

at least shity is a laughing matter, no matter what. So that's a fact and can't be argued ;-)

Don;t see Guardiola leaving Bayern simply because there's no one better to replace him there. If someone better than Pep was available, sure I think Bayern would let Guardiola leave, but atm, no way.

Guardiola could be tempted to leave some day when he has won the CL again. He seems to be glory hunting in personal terms so would want to win the title in another top league and the CL with then a 3rd club.

He also seems to be a smart guy who feels attracted by clubs with the right structure, history and behaviour. Pretty sure he would pick us above Shitty but I don't think our manager's job will be availbe to him after until Giggs followed to van Gaal.

If there was any truth at all about Pep wanting to manage United at some point then he'll know City first is a no-go.

The city players don't seem up for the fight anymore and if they lose again it could drag them into a tough battle for 4th with liverpool. The players have been eyeing in the title for months so I'm not sure how they will react to finding themselves in a top 4 battle.

Yeah City missing out on 4th will probably have a much larger effect on them than losing out would have to United and Liverpool. I can't wait for them to come to the Swamp this Sunday
