Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Someone post this on Bluemoon.

This isn't photoshopped. It exists.

'Est 2010'

In all seriousness, this is exactly why Mansour chose City, to piggyback on the culture of United support globally, particularly in Asia. When City start to be our 'rivals', you inevitably get some who want to be different to everyone else, to support the team who beat all their friends' favourite club Manchester United to the title. Voila, small but potentially fertile global support.

If Mansour had gone for someone like Villa or Fulham, and they'd achieved the exact same things that City have, there's no way you'd see pictures like that.

What does "We're not really here" mean anyway? Is this one of Shitty's stupid slogan?

It's in reference to the accusation that their stadium is always empty.

Ironically the people sat in the empty seats who genuinely aren't really there are unable to sing the song with the same gusto.

I am reliably informed it's a reference to a Millwall vs City game where away fans were not allowed in, yet City fans took tickets amongst the home support.

Apparently.

I think its origins are shrowded in mystery... seems pretty mental that none of them can even agree on why they sing it.

The most common one I've heard was that it was to do with a legendary fan who died, but even then I'm not sure what the connection is.

Certainly very apt for such a famou bunch of blue-seat impersonators, anyway!

Their response to the Conn article is just... well, there are some gems in there, put it that way.

My favorite:

Had all this before with Thaksin. Are there any ethical fans out there who wouldn't support City because of stuff like this? They're the best owners in the world, so I don't give a toss if they're killing a thousand dissenters a day in their own country.

Really the IQ of some posters on Bluemoon must be on single digits.

Good God...

I started to get a bit worried about some of those posts in the first few pages. But to be fair to them, one of their mods and a couple of other posters managed to set the record straight about Conn and his criticism towards pretty much all of the big clubs' owners, as opposed to this being another "City witch-hunt", and that seemed to calm them down..

Must be a WUM. I refuse to believe someone actually said this and meant it.

Not a WUM, but an exaggeration, he said so some pages later that regardless what they do, he can't stop supporting the club he has supported for the last 40 years.

Two major trophies and all it cost was £1bn, the civil liberties of a whole country and the offer of death to 10000 innocent people, a day. Totally worth it, our kid, we're massive!

Please tell me they're not really there.

Did other posters tell him he was an idiot for posting that?

I had a look at that thread and a couple of posters that followed seemed to share that attitude but in all fairness there were then one or two which admitted it's an issue and seem to accept it a bit more.

They're actually worse than RAWK.

Horrible fecking place, seems to get worse and worse.

Also, how come so few them have any grasp of spelling or basic grammar?

one way to ensure they finish outside the top 4 would be to do a job on rvp in the derby, remember haland and bell 'time for some payback'
zaha was absolutely overrated and gash. Ive never seen a player with such poor end product
RVP and Rio to get injured and out for 6 months would be good
Out of all the cups by February and sitting in the fight for third/fourth/fifth rag central won't know whether to stick or twist..

Their transition into RAWK continues.

They really are becoming very RAWKish, I started to notice maybe 2-3 years ago that they've a developed a tendency to wallow in the 'hard done by status' - always making out that they're victimised by the FA, the press, 'preferential treatment' towards United. Some even suggest that it's all a massive conspiracy and that we've got the EPL referee roster on our payroll.

Can't find anything too extreme today, but I did see this:

incredulous , just turned on the bbc news at ten and the newsreader stated "its not took david moyes the new mufc manager long to win a trophy". He obviously hasnt realised that we were runners up in the audi cup and we have got the medals to prove this , its a disgrace.
The Community Shield is a trophy now, apparently, according to the BBC.
