Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

I honestly doubt if Aguero/Tevez/Toure/Silva would still be there if someone came in for them. You can throw as much money as you'd like but i do believe these players would want to win and they'd leave if an opportunity arised. They may not get as much at City but they'd probably still manage to recoup at least a half or 3/4 of it.

If my memory serves me correct, didn't these guys win with City last year?

The only thing that would make them want to leave would be if the Spanish big clubs come looking for them. Aguero would be perfect for Barcelona, I think. Tevez seems perfect for city, Toure might go to PSG or something, and Silva I'm not sure of as he's just not good enough to replace any of RM's or Barca's players just now.

If he leaves, then they are in deep shit. Not many players around that are in the Yaya-mould, or that can have that kind of effect on the game (when he's actually trying).

Top player - hope he doesn't sign a new contract.

I did say 'if the opportunity arised'. I also don't think that winning FA Cups and PL titles (well, one so far, and it will only become more difficult to win their second) will be enough for them at some point. City have had two disastrous European campaigns and if they don't improve things won't be that pretty.

On the other hand...

Its not just about headline earnings.

A player with us, Madrid, Barca has much more worth in their image rights deals because of the exposure and larger fan market they represent.

Somewhere which City is getting to. They've got the best 'media setup' for any PL team. I don't doubt that they will manage to turn City into a club like that. Don't they have deals with EA and such? One of the most global football brands in the world for FIFA.

Based on what?

Time for another dose of Bluemoon meltdown specials -

On their loss against Everton :

Everton will never be a bigger club than City ..... even if we really had NO history !

City were on the verge of becoming the top team in English football in the early 1900s before the FA invented a corruption case to reverse the rise of a working class northern club they deemed inferior. The football landscape could have been altered forever if not for that.

You will see that Mancini will play this team just to put a price tag on leaving players. His face expression today (before the red card came) said it all. He didn't give a flying feck for what's happening on the field. He even started sharing candies around the bench.

On us :

The rags neither win or lose with dignity, they are the biggest shower of shit I know, they constantly harp on about 20 titles and its important because its 2 more than Liverpool, haha nobody gives a shit, they constantly say Liverpool is their big derby, yet after the 6-1 and semi in 2011 you wouldn't have thought it. They hate us because they know the power base has shifted, yes I know we lost it this year but I think that's more to do with what's happened pre season, but feck me when we steam roller them next year I'm going to enjoy it, but ill do what I did last May not gloat but just walk up with a smile and a nod and they will know what I mean.

Blue balls moonie said:
So Ferdinand has pulled out of the England squad!!! Who would of thought that.
Another example of united controlling the f.a
Nothing will be said from the media because they are part of the agenda to keep united fireproof.
I'm afraid we will never see the end of the conspiracy because united, the f.a and the media are all in together.

That's all I've ever known United fans to be like. I've met maybe two or three Rags in my life who I can have a reasonable football conversation with. I find the rest of them to be a pathetic bunch of moaning wankers who are obsessed with City and rub it in everyone's faces when they win.

Blue balls moonie said:
You can't "prove" anything to deluded rags because they are so utterly deluded they'll believe anything about their club despite all evidence to the contrary.

I mean, how many of them really believe they got 200,000 people for their parade two seasons ago and we only got 10,000 for the FA Cup parade?

Blue balls moonie said:
Virtually every fan of every other club in this country despises em but I think this just makes em worse.

The rest is just City fans being City fans, I know a couple and they are OK, but most are just fecking idiots who harp on about last season and post stupid pics on facebook.

Do you realise you've more or said exactly the same as the sixth quoted City fan in the post above, except about them rather than us?

See, he posted;

And then you immediately responded with:

Put together that gives you:

How does it feel to be no better than some dick off Bluemoon?

No, I did not know that, but is that not what football fans are, love there own club and hate the rest and then some when it is a successful club.
I don't include Liverpool fans in this they are a totally separate breed of idiots.

Yeah exactly, you got it.

That notion would excuse 90% of what's pasted into this thread from Bluemoon though; so I'm just trying to point out that, if you do insist on seeing the world through your own club's tinted specs, try not to post evidence of such in the very thread which we're using to mock City fans for doing exactly that.

Cider, you're simply magnificent. A teacher, a role model, a ciderman.

OK I can see what you going on about, not really sure why your having a dig at me.

Indeed, I'm a guru. The yoke of responsibility weighs heavy on these shoulders, but if anyone has the certitude to bear it, Walt, it is I.
Might be so, oh Ciderman of fairness. Although one might ask -- Who're you, though, to come swanning/swimming on in here on your high (sea) horse (of the night)?

And the people shall answer -- Ciderman, the Guardian of Fairness to the Berties & the Bleeding Obvious!

Being fair to the Berties isn't my ultimate goal, Walt; rather, it is to keep the Bertiness amongst our own number in check in order to better facilitate the serfdom of the Berties as jesters for our own amusement.

Entertaining myself by reading their erudite and insightful views on England. The best was probably this:

not being bias but i though milner was the best player.

time and time again he whipped in quality balls and rarely gave it away.

how they thought carrick was better in the indpendent i'll never fecking know.

Passing stats for the match:

Carrick 92%
Milner 60%

To be fair, Carrick did get his 'England cap' on, and reverted to being as passive as possible for 90 minutes. But at least as a result he barely put a foot wrong all evening. Milner was just plain shit.

Carrick was still making those low, midfield breaking passes of his to the attacking third that would have been to a much greater benefit if England had better attacking formation. Rooney with Welbeck is all good but you still need one or two players of similar quality up there.

That's true actually, thinking back I'm being a bit harsh. He was producing those passes, but they didn't come to much because (A) Hodgson thinks Cleverley is a number 10, which he isn't, so there wasn't anyone in the hole to capitalise. Or if there was, it was Rooney, and so there was no-one for him to feed the ball to.

And (B)... Milner.

Exactly. Ashley Young may not be a world-beater but he tends to play quite well for England (if used correctly) and has a great understanding with United lads out there. England should think about what could be successful for them and that is building the team around attacking players who understand and compliment each other. Even if it means the set up will be flooded with players from the same team. You can't do much about the back 5 and the midfield in Carrick, Cleverley, Wilshere should easily be good enough to begin with. The attacking third and it's correlation with wingers is where it should be looked at.

Not surprised with this shit atm. But again united KICK THE BALL AS HARD AS THEY CAN it will eventually go in 0 SKILL needed united are fukin shit.

Your right our players are far better than theirs, its just that everything seems to come off for them, i do'nt know why maybe its because they are so direct, attack at speed. The opposition always seems scared to death and panic when they attack. When you look at uniteds player there is nothing great about them it works out for them.

There's more brains in a KFC meal.

On their hatred for us :

Blue balls moonie said:
I'm a shallow bastard and hate the feckers with a passion but when it gets to the point of wiping your nose/ arse on rags tops have you got a problem!?

Is there a worse set of fans?? I think not!

When I see a top in the street I think to myself what a feckin prick, you can have no pride! scumbag we seen you singing when Sergio scored!!

Blue balls moonie said:
If I see someone wearing a rag shirt, the first thing that comes to mind is 'glory seeking trophy chaser ' . I just can't take the fookers seriously . In my area it's fookin full of them and despite all their trophies, they still get beat in arguments with the simple question 'why do you even support them' . These fookers think everyone hates them because they're successful but its mainly due to the shit house fans that surround us . They seriously make me cringe . What a pussy arse way to pick a club.

Blue balls moonie said:
It's the plastic Mancunian Rags which annoy me more. You know the ones who live in Manchester but still don't go. Tickets are available for every home game yet they don't even make the effort to attempt to buy one. They are always sat in the same seat in the pub watching them, spouting their usual shit.

Blue balls moonie said:
Most of them don't know anything about football in general and don't really understand the game as much as most other fans do, and thats why they support United.

Blue balls moonie said:
i suffer from united tourettes - i just scream out prick or wanker whenever i see that evil looking badge. Despise the wankers - every last one of them

Blue balls moonie said:
I own my own business and I have the following rules

I will never employ a rag : Bad for team spirt in the work place

I will never buy produce or services from a rag : why give my money to a rag who will then , spend it at the swamp and help the rags

never use a company that has any conections to rags ; see above

I always sell to rags : and charge them more leaves them less to spend on the rags

and yes I do hate them : for the way they pick on dads and sons not had one try to punch me for some time though funny that mind you now I'm getting older there is time

Blue balls moonie said:
If united win the double, i think i would kill myself

On SAF :

His arrogance shining for all to see. He just can't accept that the rags are despised by almost everyone who isn't one of them. He thinks because the vast majority of the media lick his and his rancid clubs arse on a daily basis that everyone loves them. Well wise up bacon face, you, your club and your fanbase are despised almost everywhere.
The sheer joy on the faces of the Sunderland fans that day was proof of that.

It's funny that the general consensus over at Bluemoon is that they've still a better starting 11 than us.

Not only do they have a worse starting 11, but their squad has nothing on us. They didn't get embarrassed in Europe for nothing, they did because most of their players are massively overrated, bar a few exceptions. Lescott, Barry, Kolo, Garcia, Milner, Nasri, Dzeco, Rodwell, Clichy are all fairly ordinary. You could name a few more too.

To be fair there's not that much between our starting 11's when everyone is on top form, not surprised City fans would argue theirs is better. Their problem is that none of their top players have been anywhere near their top form.

Their squad really is crap compared to ours though.

You could argue that some of our top players haven't been at they're best either though. We still manage to get results, not crumble to 1-0 defeats away to teams like Sunderland.
