Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

You just know that if we lose to Madrid they'll be crowing their little hearts out, because it's the closest thing they'll get to a European success this season.

The "Madrid Vs Them" will be interesting over the next couple of days, at the moment it consist of RVP braking his legs and Fergie dying from a heart attack, you can really taste the bitterness.

The fact that they can't even call us by our name tells it's own tale. You'd think that their hatred would tone down a bit given their success last season. They'll always have a small time, twisted mentality it seems.

'Them', 'Rags', 'The Scum'.

What can men do against such reckless hate?

I actually remember that, bizarre stuff really. They've been in 2 group stages of the champions league and they expect to be top seeds as opposed to team who have been competing in it for the last decade!

I wonder who sells pot 1?...

The game is bent and protected for the benefits of a few clubs. A legalised cartel.:lol:

Love they way they think calling us Rags is an insult, does it really bother anybody ?

certainly not me. In the far distant times of my playing days my nickname was " Rags" on account of the state of my kit bag and general appearance.

To answer the OP, right from the start.
Winning the league, we thought we'd made it, thought we'd hit the big time. Thought we were going to be a force to be reckoned with. The thing is though, we were lucky to win the league last season. We haven't improved our squad, whilst 'they' have.

Say what you want about Ferguson but he was right about one thing, winning a title is one thing, keeping it is very much another.

I'll get slated for this, I know but what they have is a squad full of champions. Players who've been there and done it, more than once. They have players who were brought up through the ranks and genuinely love the club and know whats expected of them.

How many players like that do we have?

Kompany, yeah, complete beast. May not have come up through the ranks but we took a chance on him and he's repaid our faith. Looks like he actually gives a feck about the club. A real leader, no questions there.

Aguero, The kid is a magician, works his balls off, falls into the same category as Kompany.

Richards, when he plays, plays with heart, gets stuck in a real battler, seems to really want to succeed here.

BraveHart, yeah best keeper in the world? Probably. He is the John Terry of keepers and I don't mean he'll shag your wife.

The Rest:

Milner, mediocre, picking up a paycheck.
Barry, worse than mediocre, picking up a paycheck.
Yaya, brilliant but only lasts 50 mins and has no love for the club. Picking up a paycheck.
Silva, used to be good now mediocre, picking up a paycheck.
Tevez, runs about a lot but far more trouble than he's worth, defines the word 'mercenary'.

Everyone else (I can't be arsed anymore)
Good players, with no real love for the club, came for the money and possible silverware, no desire or heart left now that we've won stuff.

We need to do what 'They' and Barca and other great clubs have done is start from scratch, build the club from the youth system upwards, pick up a few great talented youngsters and bring them up the right way.

Then we'll have a team, in time, that will be ready dominate. It also help that we'll be able to buy the odd world class player now and again to keep things ticking over but they have to be players who want to come to the club for success, not money, we need to stop throwing silly wages around.

Stop giving them good advice, Don - Mancini might be reading.

You should have littered it with 'rags' references, and accused everyone else of being one, chief. :D

Yeah, there's not enough raw bitterness in it. You could have also at least called SAF a drunken old tart. That might have upped you're chances considerably.

City becoming a title challenging team has given them a better understanding and respect, if you will, of the caliber of Manchester United.

Naturally. We'd do the same if the boot was on the other foot.

Ok, fair point.

But we wouldn't be shouting about it as if it was an achievement of our own. My dad's brother's father in law (from the 'City' side of the family) regularly uses our defeats to Barcelona in the argument that City are better than United. Whereas actually the fact that we even got to play Barca in 2 CL finals is testament to how much better than them we are.

Stop it, you're diluting the possibility that it is a genuine blue shite response. There are so many people trying to wum on there that this thread will start to mean little more than 'clearly someone from here' like it almost is.

You've demonstrated real intelligence by posting it in the Bluemoon thread of Redcafe before it's passed, Tdon, well done, you gormless cnut.

One of the best replies in that thread and it came from a 'rag'.

Some classy posts from Bluemoon :

Without Van Persie they would be a very average side

Manure dominated by Everton but as usual ultra clinical. This game shows how piss poor the Prem is now

They are getting outplayed and they have scored via 2 defensive errors, it's as simple as that. I'd rather watch Barry's own goal on repeat then watch them play every week.

what has rooney to do to the ref to be booked? Kidnap his kids, shag his dog?

I fecking hate these *****, I've been miserable since 730pm last night and Everton have done feck all to relieve it, why oh why are we trailing these twats by 12 points.

the rags have never won anything fair and square

There's even a thread there about wanting to give up on football totally after the premier league voted on the FFP. They think everyone is ganging up on them!

Yeah, I do find it funny how they complain about the low standards of the PL when we happen to win the title. It's like we cannot win the title simply by being the best team - it's either we own the FA, the league standards are shit, we pay the refs etc.

The PL is more competitive than the likes of La Liga, where you cannot look past Real or Barca. In the PL you have ourselves, City and Chelsea perfectly capable of winning the title. At some point, you would think Arsenal could get themselves back challenging for the title, and I do think Spurs can challenge more if they get a few quality players in.

i hope aguero leaves them this summer. i can't stand seeing him turn up for them and actually give a feck as i like him quite a bit as a player.

I know what you mean, Kompany is far too good and seems like far too decent a bloke for the Stockport massive.

What cracks me up is their idea of things being unfair towards them. Their club went from mid-table mediocrity (and that's being generous) to Champions of England within around 3 seasons, hosting an array of elite players that other top clubs would be desperate to have in their team (till most turned out to be cnuts at least), and yet they think the world is against them.

Yeah. All new members posts are vetted. Probably set for a specific amount of posts to make sure you aren't a Manchester United supporter.

You only need to have 5 posts approved. I'm on there, if they don't pass it for posting, I'll do it if you pay me or something.

Built from the ground up via a youth development squad with every dollar earned by the club, don't you know.:wenger:

The problem with some of their fans is that they're become impatient, they have won the league so expect some sort fast track pass to every trophy. I can remember that thread in the newbies, a couple of posters including United fans wanted a total remodel of the seeded system which was a ridiculous idea, a system that has been in place for years will not be removed just because City can't get out of the group stages. Think they will struggle again next year, hopefully we can carry on singing "Six games in Europe and you couldn't win one".

My feelings on the matter is regardless of the system if they cant beat ajax home and away they've no chance of getting anywhere near the trophy. I mean even if they were in pot one they could get through the competition without playing one of the big boys.
