Which is ideal, I suppose: Tactical arguments will be what it's all about, nobody can plausibly claim to have a clear advantage in terms of individual quality.

Pat's been after me to get Netzer instead of Cafu. I did some goofy analysis and concluded that only Aldo might pick up Netzer and was willing to take a risk this round. Backfired!!!

. Still quite a few excellent DMs lying about though.That's a shame, he would have been truly brilliant in that midfield alongside van Hanegem and Rijkaard. Needless to say, harms also has a phenomenal set-up for him too. If you don't mind me asking, did you build that midfield with him in mind or was nabbing Netzer more of a spontaneous plan?
Netzer was planned....sort of. I had set myself a tactically difficult (and possibly suicidal) task a couple of drafts before and could not get it right myself. Now with Pat and Skizzo's help we are trying to get a working attempt, but still find it very difficult to get a practical team up due to lack of material to understand how the whole contraption works.
Pat's been suggesting Netzer for about 2 turns now and I was not that convinced. After quoting articles and analyzing to death, we realized that none of us did not know enough to see if that works or not and so I gave in to Pat's analysis and decided to go for Netzer. I even looked at the earlier draft where you played Netzer and came up with an similar alternate suggestion using our 12th pick...and all for vain as harms bloody threw a big wrench into our plans.
harms probably has a 4-2-3-1 in mind. Ours might have been spectacular...success or bust.
